  1. What's your favorite Shakespeare? Have you heard Imagine Dragons or Collective Soul?
  2. FOUR SEASONS IS BEST CLASSICAL though I haven't heard much Chopin, I'll go check him out? Piano Guys! Coldplay! Vocal Point! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH RIGHT NOW Winter's pretty darn cool (though I myself prefer Autumn [nothing personal Winter, I'm referring to the seasons] but yes rainy is best).
  3. Gilbert and Sullivan, anyone?
  4. I've never actually heard of them. Are they good? What genre?
  5. How does it feel to be an Idrian monk, even though you're a spren from Roshar?
  6. Anyone wanna let me assassinate their Epic? All joking aside, I was thinking more of a Timelock's-buddy-dies-horribly-now-he's-an-Epic-PI-type-thing. Doesn't that not make no sense??? [/crazypinkiepie] Humwhatnow? Maaaybe... I honestly have only a vague idea of what you're referring to. I only skimmed Astoria, not do an in-depth analysis on it.
  7. One of my all-time favorite seminary lessons was one where our teacher had us all write down our biggest fear on a piece of paper and drop it in a glass jar. The teacher then headed up to the front and read all the anonymous fears. There wasn't much of classic phobias, it was more along the lines of what Lark said. That lesson really stuck with me. Yes. I feel you here, Lark. Though I suspect in a different way than you.
  8. What is your favorite piece of classical music? Favorite musician/song? Favorite season?
  9. Yeah, well. I like Q&A's, so maybe that's why two pages seems so measly to me. Yes, I do! One younger sister, who quite frankly annoys the heck out of me a lot of the time. But, ya know, that's what younger siblings are for...
  10. I have a lot of replies??? What??? Loot at Quiver's if you want a lot of responses. Not mine... Yes... I read Twelfth Night a while ago. I loved it (in fact, I have a little pocket edition I got at Stratford-on-Avon last year), in fact it's probably my favorite, as it was what introduced me to the Bard. I've seen a lot more Shakespeare than I've read (which is kind of the point right? They're plays). I've seen a performance of Twelfth Night by my cousin and while in England I saw Richard III starring Martin Freeman and Julius Caesar at the Globe. And I've seen a few others on DVD. So yeah. Shakespeare is fabulous.
  11. Who was there? I'll be able to make it next time, hopefully.
  12. That's actually why I don't usually eat meat. I'm just not fond of the taste. Well, that's fine then.
  13. Awesome. Space is coolness. Also, swing dancing at mutual! YAAAY!
  14. Yeah, probably not. I don't actually live in Provo, just close, so I don't really know. Goodness knows if I was a library director I'd hire you! If you're anywhere as near as awesome IRL as you are on here I don't know why they're turning you down. EDIT: Also, Delightful, that stinks. Yeah, no one seems to get the memo...
  15. I'm sorry. Well, there's a super-nice library in Provo... Just sayin'... No seriously. The Provo Library is the best.* *Well, it's up there with AF and SLC, anyways. But yeah, it's pretty cool.
  16. Actually I love puns! That particular post was in reference to everything. Like, seriously. I don't know what to think about the Confederate Flag or global warming at this point! *cue afraid-to-ask Andy*
  17. Why do you dislike cheese? (I actually helped derail a thread a while back into a discussion on cheese...) Are you going to do Splintercast Reads again? And if so, only for Stormlight or for other series' too?
  18. The heck if I know, everybody's being so contrary about it! Not a reply to anybody in particular just sayin'
  19. Anyone wanna place bets on what Question number we'll be on by the time we're finished with Oregon?
  20. Love your name, what's it from? Welcome!
  21. Swing dancing at Mutual? Can I get a storms yeah! :D

    1. Mistrunner

      Mistrunner

Lucky! I've tried to teach some of the young women to swing dance, but the YM still can't dance worth a durn.

Our instructor actually said we were all better at it than other adult groups she had taught. :)

  22. This is an interesting problem. Basically you can't copy and past, but imgflip has a BBCode format for the pic when you create it. ...I'd make one of those duck memes, but...
  23. Ah, EFY... How was it? Sorry I couldn't be there, I was too busy learning the swing.
  24. Yeah... English. This language. Is really just other languages mushed together to form an incoherent sludge. But it lends itself well to poetry, I will say, with its ten different meanings/spellings for things.
