Y'all, the day I had--

I'm so glad it's Friday. It's felt like Friday for the past three days. If today had not been Friday, I dunno what I would have done. (Well, actually, I think I do--see below.)

Almost immediately after starting work, a guy comes up to me and informs me that the men's room is flooding.

So I head over there, where I find another guy who is very relieved to see me, and sure enough, there's water all over the floor. 神様ありがとう it wasn't sewage, otherwise I might well have quit on the spot and burned the place down for good measure. Called the supervisor, got it taken care of, everything's fine.

Then, right before the end of the day, as I'm cleaning an elevator, something catches the light. I look closer and see that someone has very lightly etched "[BEEP] ME" into the stainless steel surface.

Well, that's a first. It's subtle enough, and this finish is already kinda beat enough, that I genuinely have no idea how long it's been there. Hopefully just a day or two. Ain't no way I can get that out myself, so another report filed.
