    You are right, that was merely my assumption. However, I believe that from a perspective of Brandon's Rules of Magic, having the Murder Magic be able to not have to Murder and still be at the exact same power is a bit weird. You are right though, we don't have enough evidence to know either way, there is no evidence in either direction.

    That's not what I'm saying. The Stormfather never took up the shard. After the shard's original Vessel died, his Cognitive Shadow became the Stormfather. The Stormfather then never took up the shard again Instead, the Stormfather became an Invested Cognitive Shadow And Never Took Up The Shard

    Hemlaurgy can be used without killing, but it produces a weakened effect, as it draws on less investiture. If you want Hemalurgy at full power, you need murder.

    No, Feruchemy converts the attributes into investiture. So you might be able to do it if you stabbed a metalmind. I don't think it would kill them.
