Mmmmm. I do really like the idea of someone who knows the alleyways (at least enough to not die there) well. I could make it so that Lux lives in The Underground, but frequently goes out in the alleyways to try and find his way back home. (Obviously he hasn't succeeded, the Alleyways are still very confusing for him, even with 5 years of exploring). Oh! I have an idea! Updated parts:

Tis fine. I didn't really think about how he was surviving in the Alleyways, I just assume it was some luck at the begining, with Fractal (who knows stuff) helping him out along the way. And then slowly encountering more and more powerful creatures, with the First Ideal being sworn as the breaking point, when Lux became more committed to surviving. Currently, Lux would do close to anything to survive.
