  1. Ah, Then in that case I am Lord of the Hunt, for all three of my names are related to hunters and hunting. Ok! So! The fea are of two courts, the Summer and Winter courts, or the Seelie and Unseelie. And contrary to popular belief, these are not good or evil sides, so much as the Winter fea are harsh and cruel and malicious, finding their fun in causing pain to mortals, and the Summer court is not kind, but indifferent, not caring either way what happens to mortals, acting for or against them with their whims. And so, usually the kindest of the Arch Fae, those who rule the fae, is the Bear King, followed by the River King, who's temperament flows with the treatment of his people, and as such he hates fishermen. The cruelest is usually the Queen of Air and Darkness, followed by the Snow Queen. Then the others fall in the middle, shifting around in how they act, with the Lord of the Hunt, The Horned King, as the most neutral, for he only desires to ride the Hunt, to run and run and Hunt forever and bring all who cross his path into the hunt, either as prey or as hunter, and mortals only live so long as they my keep running in the hunt. I have more, but don't want to go too long.
  2. Oh! Very nice. Shields are underrated. . . . Would you like to hear a far-to-long brain-spill on the fae??
  3. Kiss Leras, Marry Bavadin, Kill Rashek. Vasher, Teft, Clubs
  4. Gladiatorial
  5. The River King is one of the commonly agreed upon archfea. I think that the most commonly agreed upon ones are: The Queen of Air and Darkness, The Moonlit King, The Lord of the Wild Hunt, The Snow Queen, The Bear King, The Summer Lady, The River King, And The Queen of Witches.
  6. I would not count them as allowed, since they grant direct access to an invested art. @Frustration does this seem fair? I got the impression that living plate on its radiant acts kinda like a second skin in terms of surges: your surges read your plate as part of you.
  7. Good point about fabrials, though I did mention fabrials in the context of roshar alone and only excluded medallions because they grant access to invested arts.
  8. Will you trade it for your soul!?
  9. Are you sure? I might be able to make it worth your while? *smiles in fae*
  10. Regent
  11. *appears* Huh. Fae deals. Well neat!
  12. Hello! Welcome! I would guess this is a yes from your pronouns, but are you also an enjoyer of the Fae?
  13. I would like to point out that Kal has practically no practice with his plate, and seems to forget he even has it sometimes. And as Nale noted when they fought, he's better without it, because he has no practice. As someone who has trained in various martial arts, it takes a while to adjust your instincts to use something new. But i think that Living plate still has mass and weight. Again, we haven't seen windrunners that are really experienced. We have seen that Kal can affect air pressure and movement, like he did when rescuing civilians from highstorm winds in RoW. Since Adhesion is the surge of pressure and vacuum, I believe that an experienced windrunner could make a bubble of vacuum around him and no longer need worry about air resistance. I do think that it would take a lot of stormlight to cancel the momentum if the direction they were travelling, and changed direction, but it is possible. And don't underestimate how much living plate could brace their body and help reduce the damage taken, even though I think they would take some damage. Okay. Thanks for clarifying!
  14. Hmmmm ok! So, fabrials would count as tech, but deadshards as investiture? And for Scadrial, Guns and aluminum and such would count as tech, but medallions, because they grant you invested arts, would not? I really enjoy your idea of using hazekillers as a power scaling system btw. it's honestly one of the best I've come across, especially because it takes into account differences in setting and therefore relative power difference.
  15. I was wondering, what are we counting as a Rosharin Hazekiller? What counts as "non invested"? Does it mean using nothing that has inveatiture, such as invested equipment, or does it mean having no access to invested arts? Could a rosharin Hazekiller use fabrials and dead shards, or not?
  16. I mean pure atium as defined post atium retcon. Because what we see is tainted atium. (skip me)
  17. Shamshir only appears twice. Montante and Katar each are used three times.
