  1. Yes, I thought that would need a little explanation. It would partially depend on whether or not the Alleyverse has an Investiture rich atmosphere as mentioned by Twinsoul in TLM. I think I would need to think on exactly how much water and investiture is needed to use the ability. I will also need to research whether it is a born or given ability. The way I wrote they backstory sort of assumed that it was born, but I'll have to look over the mentions of aetherbound in Tress and TLM. What I picture for how it functions is that he's basically a porcupine. He creates spines like the Lumar spores, he can only grow them directly from his body, and, while he can choose which direction they go, he can't change their shape. He can change the size based on how much investiture he uses and I'm thinking about allowing him to modulate the diameter, but the shape is always a spine. He is easily startled and when he is, he can be seen to visibly prickle. He's gotten better at controlling it, but you can still see what look like thin red hairs grow from the back of his hands when he flinches. They are generally short enough that they look almost like red glitter, unless he purposefully makes them longer. The same effect could be seen on his arms and down his back and neck as well as in his hair. These are usually concealed by his red hair and thick clothing. The spines disintegrate after a few moments once he has calmed down and he simply brushes them off as dust. This whole process is very subtle and is rarely noticed, and when it is, it's usually just passed off as a trick of the light As you can imagine, when he actually uses his ability, (which is rare,) he goes through a lot of clothes. As for his back story, I'll have to look into that. I wish we knew more about Dhatri. I'm thinking about actually changing his home world to Lumar as we know more about the geography and culture. I'll post again with an updated backstory. His power looks faintly reminiscent to Quill from X-men. (Live action, not cartoon. He doesn't have fur.)
  2. Yeah, that sounds right. Computers are kinda what I do, so I see both ChromeOS and any new Apple products as insults to the industry. Like, come on. Nobody wants to pay to get a new iPhone that's just as terrible as the last one but has the cameras in a different configuration. *shakes head disapprovingly*
  3. Lol. Come on man! Get off your phone and spend time with your peeps!
  4. I AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMM SSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY FFFFFFFFOOOOOOOORRRRRR DDDDDIIIIISSSSSRRRREEEESSSSPPPPPPPPEEEEEECCCCCTTTTTTIIIIIIINNNNNNGGGGG YYYYYYYOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUU.
  5. Ah. Fair enough. Well, nice to meet you, not Glass's daughter.
  6. Yup. Did that as well. Yeah, it's a little funny actually. It starts on fire, but it's very violent blue fire that almost looks like some kind of plasma.
  7. It's a quote. Search the internet for the last two sentences.
  8. *snicker* Lol, I forget that people can't see how old I am over the internet. That joke is funniest to people who know that I'm only sixteen.
  9. Is cult accepting new members? I've been involved in a number of cults, both as a leader and as a follower. You have more fun as a follower, but you make more money as a leader.
  10. You're right. It's another word for a forest. Forests, as you may guess, are full of wood.
  11. *rolls eyes* who ever heard of a wood chuck? It's clearly a made up creature.
  12. Tsk tsk. You've got it all wrong. Honestly... Kids these days.
  13. so what you're saying is... A wood would chuck as much wood as a wood could chuck if a wood could chuck wood.
  14. How much wood would a wood chuck, if a wood could chuck wood?
  15. People who put pop tarts in the microwave with the foil still on.
  16. Wonderful! You? I see that you are relatively new. Welcome to the Shard!
  17. I sic a a group of cardboard-eating kindergartners on you. After being bitten several times, you drop the sandwich and run to avoid being consumed. #thedownsidestobeingacardboardcutout
