    Does anyone remember early in WoK when Dalinar made Amaram a 'Knight Radiant', knowing he wouldn't get powers but would still try to embody the spirit of the Radiants? Well, I'm trying to do the same thing, except we'll all hopefully do a better job than Amaram.

    I welcome anyone who wishes to join me to say the Words and live by them. I have already said the First Ideal. I know the next Words, and will say the Second Ideal of the Truthwatchers soon. I know the Words. (Me from the future here - I said those Words and many more)

    Guide to choosing your Order

    You can simply do the Knights Radiant quiz, but you must remember that it cannot account for every single aspect of a person. Especially for things that make Lightweavers Lightweavers, but also other things. This doesn't mean that the quiz is always wrong, but it can be wrong.

    Another thing I want to address is that I've seen someone on the Shard say they got Truthwatcher but think that being a Skybreaker would help them grow as a person as they'd already be a good Truthwatcher. I disagree. You may seek truth, but do you always seek truth, even when it seems unreachable, or when sharing the truth would prove you're wrong? Can you accept that sometimes there is no truth? Can you truly do all of these things?

    So yes. If the Order is something you already do well but can do better, it's probably a good fit for you. Also, who says you can't be two Orders at once? We aren't limited by Nahel bonds here. Have as many Orders as you want.

    End of Guide

    You may be asking, "What about the Orders with Ideals that we don't know?"

    The answer to that: You should know the Words. Remember, a lot of the oaths are personalised, so even those that we do know can be different. But, when you reach that stage, you should know them. I know the next 3 sets of Words that I must say... I'm just not ready for them just yet.

    If you're doing this, do it not for Shards or Surges, but to become a better person. 

     

    There is no Whimsy in this. Only Honour and Cultivation. (Adjustment from the future: a small amount of Whimsy is permitted, but the Words should be serious)

     

    Edit: Now that this is in Social Groups, Clans and Guilds, I feel the need to state this: Stick Radiants do not go here. Swear your allegiance to the Stick in the Cult of the Stick. Also, any other non-canonical Radiant Orders can go in the Bookbringer thread.

    Edit 3: Well later I realised some important stuff, so:

    Now, there are some things from the original Knights Radiant that, upon closer inspection, don't make sense for us. For one this, it is that the orders are divided. We already many hybrid Radiants. It makes sense, then, to allow for hybrid orders.

    The next thing is the limit of the Fifth Ideal. It does not make sense for the 5th to be the highest Ideal, because there will be times where you need a 6th. If no one had told Kaladin that there were 5 Ideals, he would've thought the 3rd is the highest until he learned otherwise. So, some may need less Ideals in an Order, some may need more.

    The final thing for now is the Skybreaker Crusade. I deem that this is no longer only for Skybreakers, and is also no longer limited to being the 4th. It is up to the Radiant when they begin one and what it is. Of course, we can't do anything like Rosharan Skybreakers did and fly around the world, but there are still things we can to prove our Radiance.

    Semi colons are suicide awareness symbols. 

    Like a metaphor, authors use a semicolon when they could have ended a sentence but chose not to. The author represents the individual, and the sentence represents their life.

    It’s a way to say my story, your story isnt over.

    For me, I've been wearing around my phoenix necklace more. I like the story of the phoenix and what it represents, and while it might not have a religious connotation or connection (at least to me), it kinda helps to remind me that these hardships only serve to lead me to the next point in my life.

    Probably really corny, but I'm curious if anyone else has stuff like that. Important symbols or icons to them that have no religious influence or meaning but still kinda hold the same place as religious symbols

    Honestly?i have a few. Ironically one was provided by Brandon Sanderson. I carry around a mental health challenge coin. I also had a promise bracelet for the longest time. I never took it off as it was not only a promise to my loved ones that i would survive, but it was proof I was strong enough to. (Though i lost the bracelet as it broke.) that and semi colons

    okay. So this is for all the ppl who don’t like fast roleplays or can’t keep up with them. So if you do join this try to keep it slower and don’t make pages a day. (I see u professionals, iced, coder) 

    so here’s how its gonna begin

    the world is ending, of course it is. After all life seemed to end up as a story for these people. But it wasn’t dying from sun or zombies, it was humans fault. A system error, maybe a terrorist attack, hit all the power plants and neuclar facilities causing meltdowns that killed everyone nearby. There was no zombies, just people fighting to survive in a world where half is radiation poisoning and The other half was humans that slaughtered others to survive. 

    At this time it’s been around 5-6 years since the attacks. 

    Okay so it’s mostly going to be talking and exploring with fights or challenges around. So this is definitely for slower people and for convenience you will be traveling in groups of or three (so find a partner) and we will have the groups slowly meet up and form one large group. You can have matching backstories or just find and have joined each other.

    Personality: Outgoing and positive most of the time. Very conscious about personal space, and defensive of her mask. Protective of others.

    Personality: Very bad at social cues and talking to people. Hates small talk. Once she gets to know someone, however, she is fiercly protective of them, even if she does not outwardly show it. She tends to find solace in being alone in nature. Also very much a realist, doesn't sugarcoat anything or make anything seem worse than it is.

    Okay ill be iffy but i wanna get back into roleplays

    Name: rio

    Age: (this will be set at the same time as the first Jedi Fallen Order game, so about 5 years after the order, or 14 BBY) 22

    Species: human 

    Faction: (ie clone, Jedi, force sensitive, inquisitor, smuggler, just a dude, etc) clone but no one knows cause they arent a clone of jango. 

    Where were they when Order 66 happened: (for Jedi, how survived; clones, how they reacted to killing their general; inquisitors, how they were captured and tortured; etc) they were a clone, created by Nala se in her first rounds of testing experimental clones. They joined plo koons troops and when order sixty six happened they were on kamino and managed to escape but felt really guilty for not being there for plo. 

    What they have been doing since: drifting from planet to planet job to job.
