  1. I really like these posts. Just a little context: I've been familiar with Sanderson's work for a while now. I started and almost finished Cosmere just a year and a half ago. In the Stormlight Archive, I found the same values and ideas I carry, especially the first ideal. I took the test a year ago and now a couple of times, getting Bondsmith twice and Windrunner once. I think it's pretty accurate. I like to mediate, talk things through, and work for the common good. I had thought of them for the Cosmere RPG and for tattooing, here they go. "Life before death, strength before weakness, journey before destination" "I will unite instead of divide. I will unite minds, hearts, and wills." "I will take responsibility for the pain I feel, and for the pain I've caused. I will make it meaningful, make it useful. I will make it make me a better man." I'd done this about the fourth before I had any idea, thanks to the RPG, but I'm not far off the mark. "Even if I can't sustain them, the bonds I create never die. I trust that what's true endures, even when I let it go." I have the fifth but... let's just say that although it's something I can be, I don't think I'm totally worthy yet. I do think that even though there are only three great sprens who would make you part of the order, I'd be happy being a squire. And I wouldn't know which spren would go with these ideals, ha! Have a great week, radiants!
  2. You're welcome, the topic of ideals always catches my attention. I think it's great that you take inspiration from other sources. The ideal sounds very good for the order, it is wise and invites us to reflect a lot on when it is prudent to tell the truth. On a separate topic and thinking out loud. I am very curious that the orders of Truthwatchers and Lightweavers share the theme of truths. They will complement each other very well in terms of personal growth. I look forward to you updating the topic. I still have to read Wind and Truth so I'm holding off a bit until I finish.
  3. Very good ideas! I couldn't agree more with number four, sounds like someone who is going very far on his path. I really like this topic. I would like to add a couple that occurred to me 2. My emotions will not control me; I will be their master instead of their prisoner 3. I will value the experiences of others, knowing that strength lies in understanding. 5. My duty is to safeguard what is valuable, keeping hope alive. I am very curious about the ideals of this order. Almost as much as those of the stonewards, I should think of some and bring them to the topic.
  4. I don't see it as impossible, but very difficult in itself, since there is no turning back from the spiritual realm. Elsecalling allow a surgebinder to enter the cognitive realm. It may interfere with the spiritual realm and connection at some point but we don't know much about the subject. In my opinion, having a Bondthsmith on the team would help you orient yourself or move faster towards that location through the connection. It could be something similar to what the pursuer does.
  5. It was refreshing to read something in Spanish , I'm going to leave my comment translated just in case. In my opinion I would go for lift. I really like the bond that Adolin is having with Maya and I want to see what new things can come out of there. Lift having a cultivation blessing in person seems more possible to me, and it is also the only one of all those who blessed without an important position at the beginning of the plot, the most normal, which makes me think that he has something interesting in reserve for her. Although Brandon will surely bring us someone else in the next books, it is most likely. I really like the idea, having a bondsmith listener would be a great way to link them to the radiants and the humans. That's something I really like about the saga in general, that the factions of the factions are blurring little by little. Humans with odium, fused fighting together with humans, radiant using voidbinding.
  7. Totally agree! I still remember when I didn't know this. I spent the entire The Way of Kings wondering who the character on the cover was. Definitely the little clues anmd details they leave on the covers are my favorite part. Well that and the composition.
  8. Hello, everyone! What a beautiful cover we have. I just want to share a little bit of the details I've been seeing on the cover. Let's remember that these covers are not canonical, but it is worth taking a look at the small details. We have a good shot of Dalinar looking towards the horizon, on a platform surrounded by infused spheres, doesn't seem to be Urithiru. Dalinar undoubtedly holds a copy of the Way of Kings and curiously it looks very similar to its real version in leather cover. We have nine infused spheres, covering one. The ones that are missing in my opinion are Smokestone and Diamond, which represent the orders of Edgedancers and Skyebreakers. In the lower left corner we have a rock covered with symbols? At the moment it doesn't sound like anything to me, We can see what appears to be the Everstorm swirling, creating circles of clouds that almost cover the entire sky. It is a somewhat simple analysis, more oriented towards practical details, but I would like to know what else you can see. Finally, I love the work of Michael Whelan, all his covers are fascinating, colorful, epic. They bring Roshar to life every time I see them. From what I have been able to read, it is possible that this is his last work for Stormlight Archive and perhaps of his career, he has already been involved in these projects for many years and is almost retired. But who knows, hopefully it will bring us some good surprises. Feel free to give your opinions and if I find more details I will add them! 9. It looks great, let's see. Dalinar surrounded by 9 spheres. Of which Smokestone and Diamond are missing. Those that represent the edgedancers and skyebreakers. Very interesting!
  10. I just have to say that I am more fascinated with these talks every day. Usually the idea that comes to mind when I think of sky breakers using their powers together is simple, like bombers. When they use their powers together I think it results in using division, but from a distance. This was mentioned earlier in the post, I need to read a little more. Keeping that in mind, we don't know as much about division as we do about gravitation, for example. What's more, can it be used naturally at a distance? And the dustbringers, can they do this or not? I really don't know, if anyone can clarify my doubt I would appreciate it!
  11. Well the pronunciation its ee-hee, sounds like his vocalization Don't worry about it, just think of the joke in the easiest way. For the rest, I really appreciate that you made the graph and the tips. I never researched the pronunciation of cosmere languages. It's interesting, I'll look for more! Since we are here, I have a doubt
  12. Done, thanks for the advice! I assumed that the joke is as easy as it is difficult to understand. Just think about the sound ehe. It is not necessary to analyze it further, it is a meme and one of those that go out with friend Maybe I could make it clearer
  13. Hello everyone! I'm going to leave this here, trusting that it is a good reference. A little joke that came out of the conversation with a friend. PS: should I edit it to make it an elantrian?
