Olivarino decided that asking more questions would only confuse him more.
He turned back towards the snake, extending his hand towards it. Extremely thin, white tendrils started sprouting from the ground around the snake, and climbed on his body, as if trying to restrain it.
She grabbed his shirt and hid behind him.

Olivarino realized what was coming at him, threw himself on the little girl, and they rolled on the ground, ending a few meters away.
"You forgot to mention that thing" he grumbled at the girl. "Wait, what do you mean by shimmer-induced?"
she yelped and covered her head. "I dunno! I dunno! Im not from here i grabbed a teleporter and ran away I just landed here! And by shimmer induced i mean hes got this thing in his body that makes him super strong and super crazy and only follow dots orders!"

He floated out into space for a moment, then passed beyond the shielding and snapped away - indeed appearing with Rebus and Kai.
-
Rebus frowned at the house. “If someone lives there, they’ll be evil, helpful, or both.”
Frowning again as Rebyl’s wounds, Rebus laid his coat over her shoulders. “Here. If you so much as wince, I can give you the Narration so you’ll feel better, alright?”
-“Persistence is one of the things Rebus does best. Talk to him for too long, and you end up working for him.”
-“I just used two different techniques. The first is the Narration of others - the Authors don’t like it, unfortunately, so it’s only ever useful when it doesn’t matter.” Rebus chuckled. “What I was demonstrating, however, is the potential of self-Narration. You can control your own actions, and that gives you much more power than simply destroying fruit.”
he yelped and Kai helped him up. "Gods i hate narrators."
-
She nodded and glanced over nervously, she took a hesitant step and exhaled sharply.
-
jacks wings twitched annoyed. "of course. What are we going to do though, i mean dax fully trusts him."
-
She nodded. "Fascinating." She darted forward and tripped rebus which should have been impossible given the size difference but she narrated it to happen.

"Of course I do," Rebus said. "You can break the pen in half - one part has a teleporter and this speaker, and the other will make a simulacrum of you so nobody gets suspicious."
-
"Any substantial Narration will attract withergeists like a beacon, so I don't need the power anyway." Rebus took his coat off, using a little multitool to cut strips from the hem and sleeves.
-
"Isn't trustworthy?" Amoebus laughed ruefully. "Rebus would gladly kill everyone on this planet if he though it would benefit him."
-
Rebus just smiled, and lunged forwards again. Salt expertly wrapped her arm around the sword - careful not to touch the edges - and simply pulled it out of his hand. Rebus grinned. "You have no idea how to do that, correct?"
He nodded. "Alright." He snapped the pen when no one was looking. He slid to the back and dropped out of the trash chute. And (likely) landed next to rebus and Kai.
-
After she was sufficiently not bleeding out she looked around. They were on a rocky planet, seemingly nothing for miles except a small house not to far away. She scrunched her face trying to oriente herself. "Ah evergod I cant think of what planet this is."
-
Jack narrowed his eyes. "And dax made a deal with him. I knew he was bad news."
-
salt blinked. "HEH? No?!"

You'll have to get away once you land, then. Good luck."

Rebus leapt to his feet in alarm, though he nearly fell over afterwards. "I can lend you some Narration - that'll distance your mind from the pain - though I'm already spread far thinner than I'd prefer. Has anything like this happened before?"
-
"That was fun, wasn't it? He was a real person, you know - I might even have let him go eventually." Amoebus's voice laughed in Leinard's ear. "Now, if you tell anyone I'm here, Rebus will probably lock you up forever, thinking that'll keep me trapped. You really don't want to be working for him anyway - he's about the third evilest person around."
-
Rebus smiled. "Good form - a lot of novice Narrators go out of the way to specify that they're Narrating, which detracts from the purpose." Drawing two swords - which of course had not been there before - Rebus tossed one to Salt, then immediately lunged at her with the second.
he huffed. "Wait. If i jump do you have a way to teleport me should I jump? I will be out of any nullite feild."
-
she winced and stood. "No no, Dont do anything that'll harm yourself. Ill survive." She stood up wobbly. "Nothing like that happened. The withergeist likely disturbed the energy cells causing it to bounce off each other. Moving them to much caused it to become unstable and explode." She took off her gloves and used them to wrap over some scratches. "Im not sure how narration works exactly but you dont seem stable yourself so id be more concerned at that."
-
leinard growled. "WHAT HEY GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" he looked at jack. "Feather head! This guy says rebus isnt trustworthy!"
-
she grabbed it and brought it up in just enough time to block. "Hey!" She stumbled back, seeing as salt was a fair bit lighter and smaller than rebus.
2 hours ago, Just A Silvereye said:"Uhm, maybe? What do you need help with?" answered Olivarino, while looking in every direction. "And by the way, have you seen a wide brown case, full of glass bocals? I've lost it..."
He briefly covered his ear, trying to get rid of that annoying buzzing, to no avail.
She shook her head. "I havent seen your case, but a crazy jesk is chasing me and his altered shimmer induced boy is chasing me to!"

”Heaven is a distraction.” The Witherlord murmured. “It is highly unlikely that the Authors will allow me to destroy it, at least not soon.”
The shadows shifted at Viridis’s whisper, and a woman’s voice rang out indignantly in the night. “Monkeys? Did you just assume I was a monkey?”
The Witherlord examined the figure. “You certainly look like one of my servants. Who are you?”
he twitched a bit at being called a servant. "I am . I existed before and i am not a withergeist. But i assure you i will be a servant of your darkness should you let me."

The orb winked into existence next to the Witherlord. It had drifted in the Void for a time, exhausted after it had tried to open a way into Heaven.
Hey! I see you regained consciousness! The ball bounced eagerly. Is there a way I can help this time? I almost made a path into Heaven, but it seems my time with you has made me lean more Evil than Neutral.

Skylight wandered in the Woods. He had spent so long alone, he wondered who was left. “9/10? Was that your name? You there?”
Was anyone left? Did anyone care?
Did the Voice deserve to be in control?
*watches amused as I know they cant actually get into Heaven unless i missed something. Wait what does he mean he almost carved a path?? Whos heaven are we talking about*

The Witherlord returned to himself. His form was indistinct, a mass of darkness covering what had once been a green field of grass, tendrils of shadow spiraling outward, drifting in the cold wind. In his... distraction, the field had withered and decayed. As his consciousness strengthened, he felt the entirety of the planet, knew it had been destroyed during his slumber.
The Witherlord sighed. I was afraid this would happen. He thought. The curse of the Antagonist. He was now true Evil. He had the power and the will to dominate and destroy the Thread. And yet... could his Author handle the strain? In taking up this role, the man who had once been Malevolence had centralized the Thread around him. More dangerously, around his Author. This brought the danger of burning out, a danger his Author knew well and had seen in others. He'd taken precautions, refusing to split his presence, appointing a Dragon and attempting to work through servants. And yet...
I will need to be more careful. Malev-the Witherlord, thought. I must be pragmatic. I need more servants to empower, in order to share the burden of antagonizing the heroes of this Thread and working towards my grand plan. Fog has been as inactive as I... perhaps I should revoke her status and grant it to another, more deserving. Still, who can I trust? Even she is not fully trustworthy. Who else would agree with my goals enough to to put themselves in my power?
He turned from these thoughts and on to other matters. Events in the Thread had progressed, but nothing seemed overly worrying... Except a Plotblade that had gained sentience? Interesting. And he would need to do something about Inkwell. Yes, his plans must continue. He would bring this Thread to its knees.
With a surge of will, the Witherlord reformed his body. Darkness pulled inward, forming into the shape of a man covered in black flames, with glowing violet pits for eyes. He reached forward and pulled his Blade, Malevolence, from the ground before him. It was time to continue his work.
Virids was distracted from his predicament by a faint sound from one of the other branches of the tree. If he were to look for the source of the noise, he would see a woman wearing a black dress sitting on one of the other tree branches. Her feet kicked idly against the trunk of the tree, and she watched the sky above with a melancholy expression.
a black figure i dont feel like explaining, so look at my art album for blurred. appeared. He knelt down and bowed. "Witherlord, your greatness. I must apologize for my delay in coming to you, my Author blanked on my existence for a bit, but now im here." Said.

So it begins.
A noise of broken branches came from behind the Tyrannoserpens. Then, a small, slightly round figure emerged. It was a man, wearing beige outfits and sporting an astonishing mustache.
"I'm sorry to interrupt, but do you happen to have seen my mushroom samples?" asked Professor Olivarino to the silhouette he could see in front of him.
behind him a figure appeared she seemed to be around six years old and ill just send a photo in discord cuase i dont feel like explaining. She looked up at olivarino and clutched her dinosaur toy. "Ah sir can you help me." She sqeaked.

Okay so this could be the stockpile of information for tlt since its getting so big. Lets try to keep it mostly to writing information about the larger plot and details that will be importsnt for new players or things that effect the whole thread. I think the people with most information to share will be @xinoehp512 @Through the Living Heir @Through The Living Glass @NameIess @Through The Living Ash and @Through the Living Wrath
Small desc of major plot right now
Witherlord (his vessel is Malevolence authors by @NameIess really bad guy and we need to find a way to stop him, rebus (authored by @Through the Living Heir) has a line and idea of how to stop him. This plan involves: the Iris, a mafia crime syndicate and the krusaders, the Iris calvery force; The Kimo labs, a laboratory run by Dax and became a part of Rebus empire; and an unnamed organization that Elinore and her crew are a part of. (All authored by yours truly)
I think thats pretty good. Heir hasnt had much time to write and nameless is gone..m idk where he went prolly having a life unlike us, anyways, this plot is stalled so we have probably way to many small plots branched off. Right now im trying to get Elinore and her crew back to Rebus and Rebyl.

But I didn’t want that to be my only knowledge.

so I jumped half way and then was confused and lost again.
should I read the last 10 pages to catch up or just jump in?
Chat gpt wont do much. Um basically, for the big arc and large story.

Oops. Sorry.
On 6/4/2026 at 9:34 PM, Through the Living Hope said:One gloved hand gripped the other, disguising its shakiness. “Well, I told you I’m a Wayseeker. After my Master selected me, he found the title in the archives and petitioned the Council to allow us to adopt it. We both had criticisms of the Council, which we kept quiet.” She chuckled, a pitiful attempt at creating levity. “As I’m sure you can probably guess, they didn’t want to allow it. I don’t know why they changed their minds for sure; my master didn’t let me sit in the hearings. All I know is they did attach one string - that we would obey military orders and help with the Clone Wars, which we understood and agreed to.”
Her grip tightened. Stop shaking, hand. “We were involved in the Battle of Coruscant—actually, we fought in this ship, though I was the copilot back then. After Generals Skywalker and Kenobi rescued Chancellor Two-Face, we and our battalion were allowed some to rest.
She moved her hands under the holotable. She wasn’t sure if she was able to keep going. Her resolve was falling apart. Her tears struggled to burst free. “We were in the Temple when it fell. My master’s greatest teaching was to listen for the direction of the Living Force. I tend to have the easiest time doing that while weaving. When we returned from our mission, I started working on a tapestry. I.. I felt unable to stop. I could feel how important it was. It was a warning.”
A breath in. Her throat felt like the memories she had of experiencing earthquakes. “Master Kai and I were unable to shake all of our clones. Two of them came with us when we attempted to run. After a few days, they received a transmission shrouded in darkness. My master grabbed my hand and we ran to our ship while he deflected their blasts.
She gripped her hand tighter still, the outer one now cringing in pain. “We were able to survive of a few smuggling runs for about a month. When we could, we purchased droids to help us on the ship. But eventually we got found. He.. he didn’t make it.
Her eyes couldn’t bear to stay open. ”I was too scared to do anything too bold without him. I didn’t cut myself off from the Force fully, but I did start to ignore it to keep myself safe. I settled on Dantooine. I bought some ranch land where I keep some munyaaks. I use their wool when I make things. Sometimes I still get visions, but I never sell those. Only the ones I manage to keep plain.”
She waited in silence for a few moments. She didn’t have to remember the order of all these events now. The emptiness in her head led to stillness in her body. She needed to meditate after this.
Through her fear, his voice echoed in her head.
“The Council opposes Jedi being guided by their emotions. They have good reason to do so, as emotions can blind you to the truth and lead you into darkness. But that does not mean you can’t feel. Feel your emotions. You can let them motivate you without falling into the Dark Side. Seeing injustice and feeling anger can inspire us to help those who cannot help themselves. However, do not allow them to control you. If you do, you create an opening for evil to poison you.”
Rio stayed silent. He felt he wasnt in a place to talk, afterall, it was his people who killed everyone. A seeing her run to her room though, it reminded him of a padawan he served under for a while. So after a few moments of thinking, he slowly followed her. Waiting for what he felt like the right time was to softly knock on the door.

So I do not know who created the Through the living... Cult. Honestly I think Someone found Through the Living Glass's name Funny and decided to change their Name to Match hers. During March this Cult grew extremely quickly but if fell of with the end of March. The Goals were to Worship Glass, and to fight the Cult of the Stick (Which is ironic because there was an overlap between the two Cults) now honestly I never participated really in any of those Activities, I was mostly a Member by Name. Now those of us who still wear the Name are either unable to change back (aka me, but sometime in June it should reset so I can finaly leave the Cult) dont have a non Cult Name (aka Star, when she joined the Shard, she also joined the Cult) or try to win a challenge of who keeps the Name the longest, Winner gets to change Verdance Username.
