  1. Berin brings up his oar in defense, deflecting the man using the hilt of the blade’s attack in the path of that of the one attacking directly, sidestepping. He kept his eyes on the bird, making sure it didn’t attack again. @The Aspiring Archivist @The Stormfather @Exotic Almond
  2. Dint immediately leapt towards the red wagon, climbing on top and getting situated on his stomach with his things, watching the surroundings. ”I am ready.”
  3. Berin sees the bird just before it hit him. He swore. This is what he wanted to avoid - three combatants. He sprang back from the situation, raising his oar in defense against the bird, backing up towards the kayak. He squinted as blood got into his eyes. @Exotic Almond
  4. Berin laughs. He slams the oar on the flat of the man’s back, pinning him down in the water. @Exotic Almond
  5. One of my cremlings is a spider there
  6. Berin grins. Fool. He runs after the man calling for help, jabbing the oar slightly out to the man’s side, then turned it so the flat of the oar was in his path. He jerked it towards himself violently. @Exotic Almond
  7. Berin stumbled back, then gave a sickly grin. He steps out of the range of the machete and starts to use the oar similarly to a quarterstaff. He positions himself so the one with the machete was between him and the newcomer. He tries to hit his friend with the makeshift quarterstaff.
  8. Don’t worry, I have my insanity and my Aviar for that.
  9. Ok. I’ve engaged in combat. Here, I die, or I gain GM favor. *crosses fingers*
  10. Berin suddenly shoved the kayak into the man, grabbing the oar and raising it high over his face, bringing it downwards. They look to the ground, saddened. @Exotic Almond
  11. Not these! I cured myself of that.
  12. Berin noticed the man, and suddenly they started to shake their heads. All the more confirmation.
  13. I can share my infectious diseases! I’ve learned so much.
  14. Berin, if he weren’t acting, would have narrowed his eyes. The person did not have to flip the oar over… it seemed more practical to use the flat of the oar, as it was already near the water. They notice it too. They appear closer to the center of his eyesight than normal, one even appearing close enough to apparently inspect the oar. But they can’t see anything he can’t. They’re just… better at picking out what isn’t needed.
  15. Era four. (they’d both be dead by then)
  16. Cool. A few of them form back into me and I do the same.
