It started with the dragons. A gruesome business. Most of this suit would not be possible without it. The dragons were for the longest time the plight of the world. The two major treaty alliances were divided by the dragonlands, and travel over them proved impossible. Without them, I doubt the tensions between the nations would have been nearly as bad. But one day, a scientist noticed that shocking the blood of a dragon would pull nearby things towards it, or it would move the actual blood. Before long, the blood was in high demand, and it was used in many many technologies. My nation... my nation did not have access to this, but it had many more dragons. So, the nations would take advantage of us. Before long, though, it was noticed that a portion of the population, the Illuminated, had the same material in their blood. Just a different form. For this, these people were slaughtered, for material. My friend was one. He just barely avoided this slaughter. It has been... It has been a while since I've seen Dint." He looked down sadly, but he continued. "After a small time, one of our scientists realized something. At this point, PPUNG had recruited me... and I had blindly followed them. Even though I was the one to see their lies and condescension, I let myself be recruited." He stopped, his voice catching. "What the scientist realized was that the amount of the special material in the dragon's blood was actually more than the weight of an infant dragon. They were consuming it, somehow. But we were not the first to notice. A covert strike team from the other alliance was sent across the dragonlands. They spent days, weeks in the land we eventually knew was nurturing the powers of the dragons. And they gained powers. Different ones... and dangerous ones. Luckily Dint was able to stop them, but they weren't the first and wouldn't be the last. The dragonblood material - called Liktag - nurtured more of these people, these mystics, for both sides. As they explored their powers, we expanded our knowledge of Liktag. It was incredibly versatile, and it seemed to blatantly defy the physics we had so often observed. And recently, we have discovered two new materials. Nullite, and one from the fibers of a vine on another planet. All of these together gave us the perfect war machines."

    furrowed! Pyk nodded. He dragged the katana to the knife and transformed it to the same proportions as the knife, then deleted the original one. "Other capabilities of this blade include earthquakes, and plasma. The first will require demonstration as opposed to explanation, the second converts the blade to a state like fire. It is very good at cutting things." The forced my hand was being overdramatic about having to describe things (describing his voice) The condescension was as such: huh? place of business? sorry blue and green is an ongoing joke I have. My very first character on this thread was the Lord of the Colour Blue, a rabbit with the ability to turn anything and everything blue. (And teleport.) He fought the Lord of the Colour Green to the death, and gained the power to turn things green. Jilu fought and killed Red, and now is the only human to have that type of power.     "One of our testers. #3-2.5 was the beginning of its identification, I believe. It had suffered from Nullite poisoning, and we were due to remove Nullite and recycle it!" Pyk nodded. He dragged around on the screen, taking the katana and shortening it. He pulled up a second window- a recording from the camera. It was of Asher. He zoomed in on the knives, and brought a third window up, feeding the picture and a small prompt. It displayed a number of options, but he selected just two. Before long, he had two knives in a sheath similar to hers at the back of the suit. "The length of the katana will vary. One of the functions of this model is resizing; you will be able to wear it just as a layer of armor or as a colossus contraption. If you wish for that function, of course. I am able to get rid of it. But at normal size, the katana should be about three feet long. It shouldn't feel heavy, the suit will do the excess lifting required. Just enough that you don't tire, but not too much so that you grow weak." Pyk's voice you forc-ed my hand! was not slow, but not fast. There was not condescension in the voice, but it seemed understanding of their lack of knowledge. Pyk has a thing about condescension.

    lol Pyk can't see color. Pyk nodded. "Yes. Okay, I think I've made the modifications to my suit. I'll help you with yours." He walked to the bigger screen and started to point and explain. Pointing at the katana, he explained it. "For this specific model, the A-43, the katana is the most important thing. It is the containment unit for the armor, and you will quickly be able to take the armor off and back on here. He katana has a few different settings; I think you'd appreciate each of them. One, however, comes to mind. The katana spews flames with this setting. I may be able to get it so you can power that specific aspect with your flames. I also may be able to edit it to include two daggers. Thoughts on that portion?" The man looked around. He stepped up to one of the Ennullers. "I'd like to report stolen property."

    Probably. I need to work on the fact that I never ever describe any of my characters, even when writing. I might describe the important things, but I’ll kick and whine before I describe the rest. *kick* *whine* Pyk was wearing a simple white shirt, with brown pants. He had ragged hair. His hands moved with an uncommon precision. Pyk answered. “The screen, which is made of a transparent material, glows in certain patterns. Something called a computer computes where and how it should glow. The actual energy allowing these to do these things is electricity, which is essentially just lightning bottled up.” He clicked on his own screen a few times, making minute adjustments. The mystic frowned. “Legally, he is ours. We have his identification number right here!” He proffered a clipboard.

    “This ‘new recruit’ may be a resource to the empire.” The man stopped time around him. Well, close enough. He made himself think and move at millions times the speed. He moved around the Ennuller, and into the room. He was still invisible. and by that I mean they are going to kill him and try to take the Nullite. Or get Nullite from him by some other means. Pyk nodded. “I was amazed when I saw it’s prototype. The device allows me to see, even in my blindness.” Have you heard of the Brainport? This was inspired off of that. Pyk moved to a screen. He began to model something. He placed a second model on a bigger, black and white screen. “That is what your suit will be without revsisions. However, I will allow you to revise it to your tastes.”

    Pyk nodded. This made sense. “The newest ones have an AI to interpret you thoughts; they should be intuitive. And, well, I’m making a specialty suit. I may be able to make one that allows fire if the regular ones don’t.” He entered, the door opening up to a slightly cluttered room. In the corner, a husk one of the major Withergeists stood. He set his Mordite blade on a table, and placed his suit in the corner. Exiting, Pyk was a man of average height, with a strange contraption on his arm, and a cloth over his eyes. At the edges of the cloth, an acid burn was visible. He reached his hand behind him, searching for a minute, until he picked a small camera off the suit and placed it onto his eyes.
