its a multiplayer bomb defusal game called Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes
one person gets the manual
tje other person gets the bomb
they can’t see eachothers screens and have to talk eachother through the defusal
”how many wires are there!”
one of the puzzles has the manual person interpreting Morse code as told them by the bomb person
omgosh it’s terrible dot-dot-dash-waitnodot-dash-dash-dash-dash-dash-dash-dash-waitnodot

I want a very specific type of character in my books
The thought was kinda sudden
very sudden as I was listening to Darkness Within, by Machine Head
Its a song about a pious person that lost his faith because of trial, and he plays music to cling to faith
but he lost it
See, most people would interpret it as anti-religion
But I like the character
The character wouldn’t be likeable to the audience. The character would be abrasive, rough. Not meant to be bad.
anyways
i like the character

Guys i take guilty pleasure in a single trope (in reality I take guilty pleasure in many tropes, but that’s besides the point)
I like it whenever the protagonist gets too much plot armor and is the bestest at what they do even when it’s like not very realistic
Like with 24, Jack Bauer is the only competent agent in the entirety of the government, and yet somehow is continually blamed for every single threat to the country.
(Of course, he did murder an ambassador (I think?) in their own home without authorization while on the run)
[he had reason, trust]
His heart stopped multiple times throughout the show. One of them was due to excessive torture. After which he killed the the people who tortured him.
