Woah woah woah… I kinda wanna create an rp. What are the necessary steps to this? Like, validation, permission, etc….Â
If I did, it wud be based in one of my books. I have a list of the magic systems (if they need more, I’ll embellish)Very first book, never finished, but one of my longest. Called the Draconics:
SpoilerOk so I don’t think I made an actual compilation of each of the possible magics, but here is what I remember.
1. Heat manipulation. Cool or heat stuff.
2. Premonition (I wasn’t very creative back then, and this was based on atium). Get warned when u are about to die. No other info, just “dude ur gonna die”
3. Iron skin: Skin unable to be pierced.

SpoilerOne maaaiiin thing. Random selection. However, all this does is make a light appear around others with the power. Basically useless. People with this are called the Illuminated.

Hamikyn (means similar hunt) are Illuminated. They hunt other Illuminated (they are the only who can). When they find them, they capture them, then “extract” magical materials. The process kills the Illuminated. Using this, they create tech, which they sell to the government! (Yippee!!!)

Tech is force manipulation.
SpoilerNotes for Nasriel (really called Talic Unity) two main things. The two cancel each other out.
1. Strands: They can command glowing yellow strands that extend from their body. Those strands have their own agenda, basically a second set of emotions urging you to just destroy stuff instead of do things with it.
2. Casts. If you can dream it, you can do it. Basically, they create fields with which they can manipulate any force and or energy (including time). The problem with this is a lot of the time, if they don’t outline everything the cast needs to do, it doesn’t do it. I’ll explain more if this is picked.

The way these work is in the presence of a non magically altered essence that one is attuned to, they are magically sustained, not needing food or water, and healing. They can also use this to create some of the essence they are attuned to.
Rage: attuned to fire/heat, but makes the peeps basically crusader. “The only perfection is us, and we must destroy the imperfect”
Madness: attuned to wind, but makes the peeps beasts. They live like beasts, and hate humans. “Anything human is imperfect, but oh well, what are you gonna do?”
Intellect: attuned to ice/cold, but makes the peeps introverted and devoted to seeking knowledge. “Knowledge is the path to perfection.”
Mirth: attuned to emotion (of any kind, good bad), but increases the polarity of their emotions. “I just want peeps to be happy.”
And the newest (I have notes for these, so I can just pop them here) (I was incredibly specific here so I cud set bounds for my characters)

Three reg forms of magic, two forbidden (important note, these are the very upper bounds, characters would likely be much weaker than this)

Transfers energy of photosynthesis to power magic. “Thize”. They can heal or strengthen others.

Healing others. For every 10 in^2 of green, they can heal at most 2 in^2 of a wound. This area wraps inside the wound, so if someone stabs someone, it includes the sides of the cavity, not the entrance.

Strengthening others: Every 10 in^2 of green can multiply strength by at most 1.1

Transfers kinetic energy into magical energy. “Dige”. They are telekinetic (yes)

The motion they take advantage of is divided by at least 10 to get the possible telekinetic motion.

Forbidden 1. Transfers electrical energy into magical energy. “Neshe”. They can animate the dead. Also create monsters.

For at least every 400 watts, they can reanimate 1 person. That person must follow their will.

At least 400 watts can change one animal into a monster. Amount required is multiplied by the percent mass of the resulting monster.

Forbidden 2. Converts mass directly into energy. Very powerful. “Brale” (no official name, that is more derogatory.). They enhance themselves, their strength and speed.

Wowowow. Every 30 grams can multiply strength and speed by 1.048

Mysterious (but not forbidden): Transfers the passing of time into energy. “Sygale”. They use this to change an objects passage thru time.

Every 2 grams of mass can double the speed of at most 1 gram.

You don't need permission to make an RP. You just do it, and it either flops or explodes into a hundreds page long epic that has barely any discernable relationship to where it started. (Or somewhere in between.)
To avoid the former, though, it's good to make sure people would be interested, which is why an SU like this is a good idea.
