I don't think I'd like 87°C. SUre. It might have hyperthermophiles but it would be habitable for humanity. I'd much prefer (but still hate) Proxima d if it has an atmosphere. It would be something like 30°C. bleh.

Ryn looked at Aerith, who was talking to Maz and Vivens, who was observing the conversation, and said, "We should probably get going. I'll grab my ship and manoeuvre it into the cargo bay."

Ryn blanches. "That's not good." He turned to Maz. "No fighting, right? Can you stop this?"

”We'll shove it in your cargo bay. It should fit. Hopefully. I don't think it can actually dock with your starship.”

“Kark. Karking kriffing sithspit. We have to leave now. I'll pay for your fuel if you need it. We'll need to shove my ship inside yours. You have a VCX-100, right? Yeah, we could probably shove it in there. But we need to leave now. Also, we need to talk about something.” He turned to Maz. “Any advice?”

Ryn made it down the stairs and came face-to-face with Aerith. “When did you destroy it? In the Ord Mantell system or in the Takodana system?“ He rubbed his eyes, wondering if Aerith would ask him why he was so worried about being followed. He looked over at Maz, wondering what to do.

that is one hell of an image Most of this is right. Except for the glasses. I do wear glasses. I also have like three laughs. One very loud one, one very contagious one (which is the one I've had since I was a baby), and one quieter one.

Ryn said nothing for a short while. “Were you followed, Aerith?” He looked down at his comm unit at the location Maz was transmitting and walked down the stairs. “How did you know I was at Takodana? Was this a coincidence, or are you tracking me?”

“We need to talk. Again. Where are you?” Ryn started walking quickly towards the exit of the bar. “You know how I said I was pretty sure I hadn't been followed? Well, someone I saw with that girl Aerith, is here and I assume she's here too.”

Proxima d is likely a very dead world due to it being HOT. Proxima b is more likely to be habitable. mmmm

ooo. possible protection from Proxima's flares and the subsequent radiation. I'm also noting all this for a sci-fi book I'm writing. Also, the fact that flares happen every 5.12 Earth Days is really cool. OH! YOU'D GET STORMING AMAZING AURORAE

Ryn shook his head slowly and sighed. "Where's Aerith? Do you know? Ach, never mind." Ryn swallowed the rest of his whisky and closed his eyes as it went down. He set the glass down, got up, and keyed his comms to Maz. "Maz. I'm so sorry to interrupt, but I have a big problem. You know the people I saw on Ord Mantell? They're here. If they were tracked, I'm dead." He tapped Vivens on the shoulder. "Follow me if you wish. I'm off to see Maz." He started walking quickly towards the stairway. He keyed his comms again. "Maz?
