  1. Hi! Welcome to the Shard. I have to say, books do smell good. Anyway, feel free to browse all sections of the Shard.

  2. Ryna lowers her voice, glancing toward the empty space where the others had been a moment ago, before looking back to Aelinor. “I don’t know the rules here,” she admits quietly. “But I know when a story is fraying instead of ending.” She offers a small, tired smile. “If there’s anything I can do that won’t make it worse… please tell me.” We're doing it Hawk's way. Also thanks for the explanation
  3. I know. You gotta be careful around Glass ... *bonk* “You are charged with crimes against the English Language.”
  4. not rn. What we do need is a history for TLT. I'm a bit lost “I have no clue what’s happening, but I’m curious enough to follow. What’s the story? I've been out of the loop for about 50 years.” btw, she looks like she's 18. Also, I genuinely don't know what's happening. What has been happening? Can Unintelligible give Ryna a running over of everything?
  5. How long did you sleep last night?

      9 hours, I think?

I'm in Australia, so it is night right now

      10:13 PM to be exact

Ah. I should've remembered you're an aussie. I'm a Kiwi by birth. Wellington, to be exact. Get some sleep. Unlike me. I hate exam week.

  6. I had no sleep so I will be an incoherent idiot. Mostly like...

    WaT spoilers

    Spoiler

Hoid when Dalinar and Navani see him in the Spiritual Realm when the humans arrive

    So yeah. Be prepared.

  7. Ok. HI is out. awwww. Right now, I'm trying to figure out the plot to TLT. And for the pages, I can just go around and edit as edits are made.
  8. We're going British then. Why not do High Imperial anyway? It is slightly understandable even without previous knowledge.
  9. Welcome back to the Shard!

  10. No. *bonk* We're doing British English or Canadian English. Whoever edited the 12184 page converted it to British and that's what we're doing. If anything, it would be in High Imperial. Do y'all prefer recognise or recognize?
  11. Good job *gingerly pats glass*
  12. Yep, that’s classic I-cannot-wait-to-share-Sanderson’s-entire-Cosmere-and-I-will-throw-so-much-info-at-you-that-you-explode-itis. Totally normal for a fan who finally has someone to talk to about it. Warning: your brain may short-circuit under the sheer weight of worldbuilding minutiae, plot twists, magic systems, and interludes. Side effects may include gesturing wildly, quoting random chapters, hyperventilating over spoilers, spontaneously saying stuff about Hoid, drawing maps and timelines mid-conversation, and experiencing uncontrollable joy (or tears) when they actually listen. Mwahahahaha
  13. Hi! Welcome back to the Shard!

      Lindy Moon

Thanks! It's definitely been a minute! I'm about to properly start Stormlight, so thought I'd get back on here to enjoy the community.

  14. “We should go say hello.” She points to the very obvious portal (it looks like one made by Dr. Strange) in front of them, leading to a mansion lawn.
  15. Happy Chanukah to all Sharders!

  16. “No. My name is Ryna. I'm a Chronicler. I know not of this Ivisyre or Sequence. I've been out of commission for a while. Your name is Unintelligible, right? What is going on?” “Yeah. Let us talk to this Unintelligible.” . 1 British, 1 Canadian, and 3 abstains. For Adonalsium's sake. We're going British.
  17. “I can't really explain it…” Abstain. Got it. Canadian English is a mix of the best characteristics of both British and American English. We have 1 vote for British and 1 for Canadian and 1 abstain.
  18. Happy Birthday, Law!

  19. Happy Birthday, Life!

  20. no. you must do the stabbies. you can nom after.
  21. “I do not know yet what this event or person is. I felt it.” Also, we need to decide on the spelling and grammar for the TLT wiki. We have 3 choices. Canadian English American English British English I prefer Canadian English for obvious reasons.
  22. “I… don't know. I felt something…”
  23. “I accept that I cannot save them all. My shield cannot be everywhere. I will not abandon the line because it cost me something. I will endure that cost and keep my feet planted between danger and the living.” These are all ideals I have actually said after events in my life. This one happened during college for me.
  24. “I see,” she said. “I am familiar with this sort of thing. Just your condition is new to me.” Also, she knows things she shouldn't know. For reasons. Y'all will find 'em out in a while.
