Probably, but you could try to get another Elantrian to store connection in a medallion.

I don't understand how this would occur. The migrants don't appear to be hostile (for now), and they have no investiture, and no political or economic power. Obviously this can change, but I don't think they could do this. If they see themselves as Scadrians and assimilate (at least partially), then why would they enslave their own people? This seems incompatible. Also, I think that some take over is unlikely also because Scadrial is supposed to be an Earth parallel. Either consciously or subconsciously, the Basin seems to have taken on some aspects of the United States, especially the West and the North. There's a frontier, it's basically a federation, and now immigrants are appearing. One of the only things that is significantly different are the nobility that the Basin has. Because of this, I find it unlikely that conflict is going to spring up. Also, as NerdyAarockra says, there are works set in the future with powerful Scadrians. Sunlit Man, 6th of the Dusk 2 preview, we know that Scadrial has a "cold war" with the Malwish in era 3, and we know that era 4 is both space, and some of the final books in the Cosmere.

Sorry if I'm not clear (I seem to have many issues with this), but the hemalurgy in the abilities section is inserted into your fighter. An aluminum spike in this scenario is worthless because it removes all powers. If you want one as a weapon, it costs 60 under the equipment section.

Fullborn can't run that fast. Also, a lot of the other characters here are fullborn or have some other method of speed I believe you can resist this effect; I mean, TLR clearly doesn't and he was probably the most powerful mistborn I'm not sure what effect this would have? This is an arena fight to the death. Anyone who is in the arena is an enemy. Tons of other people in this thread have some form of either future sight or sensory overload. Also, there are other compounders and non-compounders in this thread. Everyone gets 1,000 points and is indeed overpowered, but you overestimate fullborn. A powerful elantrian or potentially some of the sleepless combos could totally beat up Rashek.

However, the coppermind does mention certain movements are necessary, and it doesn't reach full effect instantly, so I'm not sure how well it would work with hordelings who would likely be separate. Also, I just found out slatrification was retconned, so I am bumping sand mastery down to 10 points per ribbon Aluminum spike. Boom, no more powers

By "basic metals" I mean the base 16

I suspect either his disguise powers or his hat had something to do with his resonance

That's the point, it gives you so few points for something that would likely kill you (without Hoid telling stories) especially if you multiplied it. It's not intended to be serious.

Ideas for the best kandra true body.
Qianweilian replied to DoctaDajman's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Depending on the level of control the kandra has, could it be possible to have bone fragments that can interlock? They could slide apart when needed to withstand a hit and slide together when needed to be stiff. Now I kinda want to see a kandra engineer/scientist who pushes the limits. -
Sorry if I wasn't clear enough, but in order to take 'break aons' you need to take Dakhor, which is 100 points by itself. Now I've fixed the prompt, so it should be clearer. Edit: This is going to be a fight! Sandstorm with illusions all over. Hordelings and radiants scrambling around trying to stab each other (with spikes or shardblade) with other hordelings draw Aons
-
That sounds...kinda terrifying Version 1.0: Version 1.1: Version 1.2 (After sand mastery change): Other responses convinced me to change. Fullborn elantrian hordelings who can shield themselves with sand mastery(can use bendalloy to compound fluids); this has the benefit of not being fooled by lifesense and can be used offensively. Also, any one of them can draw aons with f-zinc or bendalloy or summon a shardblade. You also never know which one has the aluminum spike to nuke whoever is too much of a threat. Also, do we know if individual hordelings or Sleepless as a whole can be targeted by hemalurgy?

Ideas for the best kandra true body.
Qianweilian replied to DoctaDajman's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I mean, you could have elastic bones. They could be stiff enough to stand normal wear and tear, but bend to a concentrated assault and bend back with focused muscle power, which kandra can surely provide. If you don't want them to bend, some form of fiberglass or heavy metal could work. The problem with finding a better material is that human bone is already extremely strong. -
This is mostly for fun, but I am curious how this turns out. Everyone gets 1,000 points to make the strongest fighter possible. Everyone is in an arena that *deus ex machina* has all powers work as normal (close to elantris, floor is invested sand, metal dust, etc.) and basic gear is provided (metal, water, etc.) First pick a race/species: Then get powers: If you have anything else left, you can get equipment(limit one per item unless otherwise specified): Prep time can be bought for 100 points per hour(probably paid more than you do). +10,000 points if you can cancel my finals. If you have any suggestions, tell me so I can add them. May the most powerful(or clever) win!

The Cosmere's Greatest Hero
Qianweilian replied to KaladinsSenseOfHumourSpren's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I don't think it's a coincidence either as Kelsier told TLR "I am hope" and he is mentioned as especially connected to Ruin- 6 replies

Cosmere multiclassing sounds fun. Do we know if you can take multiple heroic or radiant paths?

The Cosmere's Greatest Hero

Imagine ruling an empire for a thousand years constantly worn at by Ruin. Frodo was trashed after maybe a year? carrying the ring. Anyone would get tired.- 6 replies

I suspect when we get the full rules including Scadrial and the others, we'll get something like 'Heroic/Normal Paths' and 'Invested Paths.'
-
You could probably add the fact that you can use the time machine for the Coppermind, so you can review the plot and characters while reading without getting spoiled.
-
But we never really had that many viewpoints or conversations from people knowledgable about this sort of this in era 1. Ati was directly antagonistic, Leras was pretty much dead, Hoid really only acted as an informant to Kelsier, and we never really spent that much time with Ascended Vin or Sazed. In Stormlight, we have multiple worldhoppers, including Hoid, openly discussing mechanics of the cosmere and investiture in addition to having native Rosharans educated in this. In the Final Empire, none of that existed, except maybe a little bit of discussion around the obligators running Hathsin.

There's actually a WOB about this:
-
I think some novella with Khriss going over to various planets and analyzing the powers of the characters there would be awesome
-
I mean...it probably doesn't help that he's dead. Unless we get a Taln flashback or some sort of prelude book set during the Desolations, I don't think we'll ever find out how proficient he is.
-
My list: Taln Nightblood Rashek (I think he could beat Ishar) Ishar Nale Susebron Other Heralds Kaladin Hoid Wax with Bands of Mourning Xisis Vin (By HoA, I think Kelsier would lose to her) Kelsier (TFE) Elantrians Wax Elend Zahel/Vasher Adolin Azure/Vivenna Wayne Dumad (Wax imposter) Gertruda (Wayne imposter) Sazed Zane MeLaan Szeth Imposter Blackthorn Yumi Kenton's father Telsin Kenton 2^(-1). Stick Yikes, this is a big list
