Savior Complex was not what I needed. What I needed was my Author. I'll be back soon. Good luck." he said, and Savior Complex disappeared. "Sent to my Author's chosen. It was never for me. I defy you." he said, even as he died.

There's nothing that makes me special, or good at stuff like that, like you are. If I didn't have powers, I would've died a hundred times now."

    "Please stop. Both of you." Cricket sighed, stepping between them. Bat? he called out questionably. @Through The Living Glass "If you hadn't tricked him, you would be dead. No sword can save you from a Narrator. Only your wits."

    C hummed angrily, and blew up the muffin with a ray of light. "BOW BEFORE ME! I AM C!" At least, that's what they thought C said. They couldn't understand Morse Code perfectly, so he might have been talking about mooses farting. It wasn't clear.

    "And I'm an Enuller. We cancel each other out, almost." - "Yes!" "Not really. He could've killed you at any time. You manipulated him into not killing you instantly."

    Simon looked at Jacob with disgust. He had never liked him. "Well, I suppose so. C'mon." he gestured towards the city. "We've done this before. Jacob, lead a team. Try and destroy the food sources, kill public figures. I'll take the rest of us, and destroy a monument. Their symbols of power." "Yay. Well... he was kinda defenseless." - "Yes!" he said desperately. "You did most of it." he admitted. "She defeated a Narrator and a dozen guards without any powers. Me, I cheated. I'm an Enuller."

    Basically, we got into a fight with some soldiers, and then a Narrator came. I got locked in a box, and then when I came back, killed the Narrator. - "Fine, then! I pledge my allegiance!"

    Uhhh... I'm fine. he settled. Dwelling on the pain did no good. He needed to be stronger than the pain. Always. - "I'm valuable!" he called out in desperation. "My parents are rich!"
