    "Do the math problem, first." shouted Storm, "and it will submit to you!" come up with the math on your own, I don't want to waste my time on it.

    Suddenly, somebody spoke in Cricket's head. BOY, he said in snarling tones, CHILD OF LIGHT AND DARKNESS. COME HOME. MY SERVANTS ON YOUR TAIL AND YOUR LITTLE FRIENDS WILL DIE. COME HOME, AND SPARE THEM. THE MUTE ONE, HIS SISTER, THE ENULLER, THE NARRATOR, THEY WILL ALL BURN. IT HAS BEEN TOO LONG, NINETEEN YEARS, COME HOME, AND MEET YOUR DESTINY. Cricket screamed in agony as the voice pulsed in his head, the same voice that had drove him to run away ten years ago, whatever it was... it was catching up to him.

    "Don't blame me, I just work here. Anyways, here's a lasso!" Storm called out, tossing a lasso into the arena, which is immediately snagged by a charging bull. "Oh, oh well. Have fun!"

    Storm shrugged. "Not my idea, it's not like I get to determine what happens on Glass' Trials of Honor."

    Stormy growled, then hit a button that released forty wild bulls into the arena. "Get them inside the pen, and you win! Only catch is, they're each a math problem."

    Only slightly wounded, no biggie.

    Okay, sorry. I pull out the knife and hurry Glass to the hospital.

    "I am finished." said the dragon quietly, "but my brother is not. I will warn you, use your skills and remember... he cannot swim." offered the dragon quickly before vanishing, leaving only the knight.

    Cricket stretched, glad to be human again, and looked around. "So, what's next? Why are we going to these mountains?" he asked.

    "Evidence? Citations? You were given a pencil and a paper, SO USE IT!!!" roared the dragon, sending another torrent of flames across the arena. The knight swung his blade wildly, screaming bloody murder at both of them.

    "The Cult of the Gingers has not been destroyed, but reforged! We fight on! There may come a day when the courage of gingers fail, but it is not this day!" I shout defiantly.

    "Two warriors?" shouted Storm. "Then it is two monsters for you!" A second beast entered the arena, a man dressed in armor. "No tricks or problems for you!" the warrior shouted. "Just death!"

    sorry I'm back! The next beast strode out of the arena, a dragon. "Write an essay on the different perceptions of dragons in different cultures," snarled the beast, before torching the arena.

    yeah ofc. The first assignment came out of the arena, a man dressed in 1700's style clothes wielding an ax and a musket. He took a swing at Glass, which barely missed, while shouting at her. "WHAT FACTORS LED TO THE PATRIOTS' VICTORY AT YORKTOWN!!??!!?!??" @Through The Living Glass

    ikr. "Then we shall go to the Arena of Champions, where you will be armed with a pencil and an eraser, and duel them in single combat." Storm said, pressing another button, which teleports them to the arena.

    Storm cursed, pulling out a lever that teleports them back to the platform. "Fine," he said, pulling his shirt out of Glass' hands. "You win. Now you must duel the Seven Great Homework Assignments."
