  13. Black stuff of death . . . okay . . . he said groggily, taking another sip of . . . whatever this stuff was. It seemed to be helping. Then he suddenly remembered why he felt so awful. Wait a second- you got me drunk! he said accusingly.

  15. Ugh . . . he laid back down, dizzy again. He cracked one of his eyes open and took the glass. He took a sip, and both the headache and the nausea receded a little bit. Where are we . . . ?
  16. A few minutes later, Shoe came to. He wished he hadn't, though. He had a splitting headache- like someone had been hammering nails into his skull from the inside. On top of that, he felt dizzy, tired- -and so very nauseous. He groaned and opened his eyes- but the light was too harsh and so he closed them again. Ugh . . . he groaned. What happened . . .? I've decided that it's nighttime.
