    Astrid joined her. She stopped dead in her tracks, grabbing Liv's arm. "Wait," she hissed. Hopefully it was only another one of their group, but . . . you never knew.

    "That's . . . a really interesting question, actually," she said, searching for words. "Um . . . it's really . . . strange, I guess." She stared at the ground. "I'm extremely powerful -not by choice, mind you- and I can literally make almost anything a reality." She summoned a cupcake for emphasis and started munching on it. "I don't know," she mumbled with her mouth full. "It's really weird."

    "Sure!" She did so, then showed him once he was done. "What do you think?" They were slightly less realistic than the first, but still looked pretty good.

    heheheh totally not me bragging about how I draw eyes irl "Um, I don't know. I just liked drawing these, so I got really good," she smiled. "And thanks."

    Astrid wondered if what was happening to them now also happened to the previous Rim staff.

    "Oh, sure!" She conjured a pencil and paper out of the air as she decided what she wanted to draw. She settled on an eye- she made some really short, quick strokes with the pencil in the general shape of an eye, then filled in the iris, pupil, and some shading on the white. She showed him after about thirty seconds. "There," she said proudly. It looked pretty realistic, all things considered.
