    He is absolutely covered in glowing spores, now. There are also some tiny snails crawling on him, but he hasn't noticed them yet.

    He is, in fact, surrounded by all kinds of hiding places. For some reason, he's not recognizing them. Crevices, stalagmites, and small caverns that would make great hiding spots.

    A lot of the glowing spores stick to him wherever he touches them, and the snails retreat back into their shells. The plants do nothing.
