I agree. Darksun Gwyndolin is a very respectable individual.

  3. STORYTIME (again)

So I was in calc today

and this girl in a desk ahead and off to my right has WoK out on her desk all during class

So after class I was like "That's a goodie"

and she was like "Yeah, it is. I love Kaladin" and such

and I was like "Me too- I'm on the fifth- what else have you read"

So she was like "Oh, Mistborn"

so we talked about that for a minute,

and the conversation ended with us actually asking each other's names :D

    Heheh

In fact, I got the first one into the Cosmere right as I was getting into it as well.

The second one had his two elder brothers nicely pressuring him, so it was only a question of time. (Though I didn't expect him to tear through MBE1 that fast, given he often bounces off our recommendations or doesn't try them. He's not a big reader.)

  4. Heheh Thanks, my guy Whether or not this is a good thing has yet to be seen

  9. "Something like that, yeah." She put a pillow on each of the chairs to keep the blanket from slipping off, then stacked some pillows in a box shape to form an entrance. "Now we just do that a bunch more."
  10. Heheheh She watched him for a moment. "You kinda just stack everything to make little hallways and rooms, I guess," she offered, walking over and looking at the assorted pile of sleep-related items. "We could start with an entrance or something."
  11. She cocked her head as he ran out, then grabbed his empty plate and took it to the sink. She washed it and put it on the rack next to hers, then cleaned the silverware as well. When she was done, she rested her hands on the counter top and leaned over the basin. Bat . . . he seemed so innocent at times. Emotionally inexperienced. Too emotional inexperienced to actually grasp how he felt in different situations. Sometimes she wondered if he even understood what was going on. Scud, sometimes she wondered if she even understood what was going on. She supposed she couldn't judge him for being like that, all things considered. Once the dishes were dry, she put them away with the others, then went back to the table. Bat's notebook was sitting on it still. She saw it and reached for it, wondering . . . But no. That was his private property, not hers. She pulled back and left it alone.
  12. "Oh, like a pillow fort? Yeah, that could be fun." She finished washing her plate and set it on a rack to dry, then walked over and sat back at the table again.
