    It was the severed skeletal leg of the creature they'd seen earlier. There were a bunch of crystals embedded in it. Cool.

    But they're not alive . . . I guess it could be some sort of bacteria or fungus or something. She grabbed a red one, too, and stuck both shards in her pocket, then continued walking around.

    The tunnel led to a completely different cavern. This one was filled with ominous white-and-red glowling crystals. Oo. She inspected and walked among the crystals. Pretty.
