Little story time from mine and cal’s relationship:

So about a year ago now on February 14th, cal gave me this promise ring. It was a silver ring with a little crystal in the middle and two on the side. Now I wore the ring every single day. Everywhere and all the time. Even when I was marching or practicing I kept it on under my gloves to keep him close by always. Now during like November or December last year, I somehow lost it. It slipped out of my pocket the one time I was wearing it. I looked everywhere and couldn’t find it. 
 

Now since cal left, he left one last thing for me at his house that he said I was going to love. I tried guessing but he wouldn’t give any hints. 
Fast forward to today and I finally stopped by to pick it up. I see his family and they missed me a lot, especially his sister. And I get two things: one partially full twelve pack box of assorted monsters he bought before he left, and an envelope with my name on it. 
I say my goodbyes and open it in my car. First thing I see is a little microfiber cloth and was like “what’s this?” And then there’s a little package in it. 
it’s a replacement of the exact ring I lost. He got me another one. 
along with a letter telling me to not lose this one and that he loves me.
