    Rye is an anomaly. He's pretty much singlehandedly brought the Industrial Revolution to a couple of countries (mainly Shenai, which has been embroiled in a civil war because of the technologies he brought with him), but the rest of them still have medieval-level technology.

    Er yeah definitely. And I talk like Wayne whenever I listen to the Mistborn era 2 audio books.

    Rye is kinda rogue-ish but not really. He mostly does pickpocketing, and he's not even really good at that. His main skill is engineering and inventing advanced weaponry.

    Sigismund tripped on her and fell over as well.

    Of course, Rye's story ended with him getting taken away by foreign soldiers so that he could steal his equipment back. Assuming there's a time skip, Rye would probably be back in time with all his gear back.

    This RP went inactive? I feel like I'm always losing track of time. I'll make a character sheet for Rye when I get back, and maybe a new character too.

    Qallari has apparently been with everyone the entire time. Definitely.

    I turn in THE DEMON and gain a large reward of money. Then I build a giant fortress to hide the Sandwich in. Someone will have to sneak into my castle to steal it.

    Was I not supposed to do that? Sigismund thought in confusion. That's right, Jidah had pointed in the wrong direction. But Sigismund didn't sense anything wrong with the man before them, so why try to throw him off? 17 had talked of tests, often painful. What was going on? I know what I'll do. I'll wait for this man to take 17, then discreetly follow them back to where they came from, so I can see what is really happening.

    "That's what I thought. Well, I suppose you should join us, if we are heading in the same direction." Sigismund continued walking.

    Nemi? Dead and buried. Other than her, we've had a pretty low number of casualties this year, which is good, because last year there were a lot. Like, every day I'd find a dead chicken somewhere, either from disease or simply old age. There are a lot of different diseases chickens can catch, and some are worse than others. Luckily, we have been spared from the dreaded bird flu thus far.

    Because the Khan is a friend of mine, Vyz finds the Mongol horde behind him. I happen to be in Mongolia also, and enlist the help of the Mongols to take back the Sandwich. The DMZ is overrun with throat-singing horse archers, and in no time the Sandwich lies in my hands as we return victoriously to Xanadu.

    "We're off to meet up with the main party again," Sigismund stated. "I do recall the person you describe. They seemed to regret their decision to leave. But, I must inquire, are you a scientist of sorts? Because your acquaintance mentioned some kind of testing. I have met many scientists in my lifetime, and not all of them have been with good intention..."

    Sigismund froze, and stiffened. "What was that," he breathed. Turning slowly, he readied himself for a spell.

    Because I WAS HOLDING THE SANDWICH, I get knocked down to Earth too, stand up, brush myself off, pluck it out of strmblsd's hands, and stroll away happily.
