This looks so great! I agree with the charcoal idea, it's awesome.
  2. You should try it, it's fun I'm planning on making character-themed bookmarks/jewelry with them. I'm excited to see how they turn out.
  3. I'm kind of the same, but I started in the summer. I was trying to time it so that I read the 13th a couple months before AMoL came out. But then two things happened: I read through the middle books really fast, and then the date was pushed back. But I just look at it as time to reread some of the books before the last one comes out.
  4. Now that I think about it, I haven't seen any symbols from this book....And I'm pretty sure that I knew this a while ago, and then forgot. Thanks for reminding me But anyways, I don't think that Idrian symbols would be in artisans script, since they all have one Breath and wouldn't see the color steps. Plus, they don't encourage color in general. Maybe, but I doubt it. Refer to above.
  5. I can't wait until I am done writing this essay.

  6. I'm rereading Warbreaker at the moment, and I noticed something that I hadn't before. While Vivenna is walking through the Idrian slums in T'Telir and finally realizes that everyone there is Idrian, not Hallendren, she notices little symbols of Austre everywhere. (Page 329)I was just wondering, have we gotten any information on what the symbols of Austre look like?
  7. It's kind of odd how I have this huge list of books I want to read, but I'm always looking for new recommendations and new authors.

  8. Thank you very much
  9. Lots of reading recently :D

  10. I'm reading this series for the first time, and I say read it from the beginning. The plots and characters are all way too awesome to miss out on. That is impressive! I feel like I'm reading through it pretty fast, with just finishing book 11 in 8 months. Even with a summer break full of reading! Although, there were a couple of short series I read as well....
  11. I'm really terrible at catching foreshadowing in pretty much any book I read. BUT I don't mind it, since it makes the surprises that much more awesome. I do catch a few foreshadowing now and then, but it's usually the small stuff, or I randomly notice a pattern. I can't remember all of the few foreshadowing that I've actually caught, but one that I know that I caught the Denth one and the AonDor solution in Elantris. Well...the AonDor one came like three pages from the event, but I'm still counting it.
  12. This is awesome. I wish I had a car to put awesome plates on
  13. I saw one the other day that I thought was good: What cut the Roman Empire in half? Edit: I got another one: How do you organize a party in space?
  14. Thank you~ Thanks! That's also one of my favorites Also, FeatherWriter those videos are awesome
  15. What about books that are sold digitally? If a book is only sold digitally, then the only limit is data storage.
  16. My aunt gave me used copies of numbers 4-9 of the Wheel of Time Series for Christmas. I just started reading it this year, and I was super happy to get more of the books. I started reading through A Crown of Swords and came across something terrible--some were pages missing! D: It was depressing that the book was damaged, especially since it meant I had to wait until I went to a bookstore and get a new copy until I could finish the book. I didn't want to throw the damaged book away, and so I decided to make some Wheel of Time themed paper beads! The rest are under the spoiler. This is the first time I have made these, so they aren't great, but I'm pretty happy on how they turned out. I'm planning on making some bookmarks with these, and maybe some jewelry.
  17. I love Terry Pratchett~ I haven't read that many, but My favorite books from him are the Tiffany Aching series and Going Postal. His books are always fun to read, and I love all his characters. I'm really sad that he has Alzheimer's :/ There are a lot that you all have already mentioned, and I don't remember the books I've read at the moment. I'll have to go to the library and right down a list and add more later. One that I can recommend right now is Beloved by Toni Morrison. Here's the synopsis from Amazon: It sounds a little weird...but the writing is way amazing. Especially the end.

  19. Jobs should be easier to get :/

  20. Well...my AP Art concentration was visual puns, so I have quite a few of those here. One of them isn't on there, sadly. I don't know where the picture of it is, and I don't feel like digging through my stuff to take another picture at the moment. Anyways, my favorite joke happens to be a pun. It's better to tell it out loud, but here it is: What do you call a fish without an eye? A fsh.
  21. I think I remember reading that Miles had some of his gold bands piercing his skin, but I can't remember where...if it is in there. I might be making things up.
  22. This is awesome.
  23. I think it's funny that I decided to join twitter because of Sanderson/17th Shard-ness

  24. Finally got a copy of Alloy of Law! I have to wait to read it, though.

  25. Oh... forgot about this thing
