If you wish to RP content that goes beyond those ratings, you're welcome to play it out over PM or IM, but all visible content on the site must follow the established rating. It's not that we don't trust you guys, but we felt that it's important to be consistent with what we do and don't allow on the site, and that we also respect the family-friendly atmosphere we've created so far. Silus, since this is your RP, we're counting on you to make sure that happens. Here at 17th Shard, we take our commitment to building a positive community very seriously. As such, we strive to maintain an environment that all of our users find comfortable and welcoming. Part of this is moderating things like language and content. A lot of universities tend to assign as small a classroom as they can, as well, especially with certain classes. Both my Bilingualism and Semantics classes were actually overcrowded and the professor had to request a bigger room, while Phonology was packed. They want to have room for the classes they know will be filled with paying students, and the rest will get shoved off to the side. So if Brandon asked for smaller class sizes - which makes perfect sense, given his schedule - they'd automatically give him a smaller room because of that. However, the idea of podcasting classes - even select snippets - is a great idea, especially since it gives those of us who live farther away a chance to "sit in". I wonder if he'd be up for that?
