    My trumpet section had a rain turtle a few years back. People would draw it in the dirt and hope it brought rain so we'd have to do a music block inside instead of being out on the field. But we were trying to phase it out this season so I started drawing sun snails.

    Just agreed to play piano for my high school jazz band at their concert on Wednesday. Never played jazz before, but hey, I’ll figure it out.
