    "Mate, I hate to tell you that this is the real world." The Once Author says, chuckling nervously. "We left the pocket dimension when you knocked me out."

    "FINE fine, I'm up!" The Once Author said, climbing to his feet. He summoned his authorblade, still unsure of its true abilities. "Truce for now, Abalodor?" He asks. @TheRavenHasLanded

    The Once Author groaned, coming to. "That is one dense stick." He said tiredly. "I'm good, just please tell me the fighting is over."

    The Once-Author looked in surprise as the boom-stick hit him in the head. The world around him fuzzed and he fell back to the ground, dropping his Authorblade. Abalodor fell next to him. He gasped, his nose bleeding, and then everything went black.

    Rukk's voice wavered. His vision was blurry. "Master? I think... I think Nayla and I need to stop."

    The Once Author leaped backwards. "This is strange. I believe, if I'm not mistaken, I have control over this small pocket dimension." He said. "Let's try something out." Suddenly gravity flipped, and the two of them began falling upwards. He swung his blade at Abalodor. Wait. This is about me?!

    "I could've, just didn't think about it. Probably should have." Ima be off for a while now. G'bye!

    The world around them fuzzed away, leaving an infinite plain, with just the Once Author and Abaldor. "Not cornered anymore. Just stuck away from the fight."

    The Once Author gasped, and put a hand to his chest. He collapses to the ground, dazed. "Good job taking initiative, Abalador." The ghostly version of him puffs away. Then the real Once-Author appears in front of Abalador. He summoned his authorblade. "I guess I'm in charge of stopping you from joining the fray."

    "Yes. But... I don't know. I'm trying to do what I'm supposed to. But It's really hard. Also, I'd rather you not get stabbed by Platypus. And he might stab you." The Once Author stares confused at the lounging Drilks. Why would you rest in a fight? He begins to stab at them, seeing what happens.

    "I know." The Once-Author said. "We all are. But helping is difficult when no one is necessarily doing the right thing or the wrong thing."

    The Once-Author lunged at Drilk, summoning his Authorblade. "My goodness these plots are difficult to keep straight!" He swung his blade, and at the same time used narration to weaken Abalodor's wave. Off to the side an ethereal version of the Once Author appeared next to Abalodor. "Mate, I'm sorry. But you should not have done that." He began narrating, and a giant wall appeared, separating Abalodor and Platypus.

    "Well..." The Once Author said. "Now I feel sheepish. Should I join the fight to, or...?"

    "Seriously!" The Once Author yelled. "Y'all can fight and whatnot later!"

    The Once Author narrated himself to Platypus's location. "Need any help with anything?"

    I'm surprised more people didn't say Elsecaller, Willshaper, or Lightweaver. Lightweavers and Elsecallers can both soulcast shelter, and an Elsecaller and a Willshaper could pull you into the cognitive realm.

    The Once Author appears next to Abalodor. "Sorry mate. Got lost somewhere, had to find someone to teleport to. What's going on now?"

    Rukk's eyes flew open. "Nayla!" He said, surprised. He rushed to her side, turning off his saber. "Are you okay?"
