  1. "Thank you." He says curtly, then walks through the doors to find his room.
  2. A man walks in, back straight. He's in a stiff suit and holds a briefcase at his side. "I need a room." He says to the lady at the front desk.
  3. The old man stared at the newcomers. Good haul today. His skin was aged and looked almost mummified, in fact, if it weren’t for the steady rocking of his chair it would be doubtful that anyone would realize he was alive. He took a slow drink from his mug.
  4. The old man eyed Aria. He sat with a large mug in his hand, rocking slowly in his rocking chair. He wondered how long he'd take to realize the check in desk was right in front of her.
  5. Do you truly think you can become a villain on that level? I speak to you to help you. Or hinder you. On your journey.
  6. “I was a slave trader who supported economics and the current social system to stop death and destruction.” Hanoch nodded. “But it also keeps people in check on the social side.”
  7. “I’m here because people thought this was immoral. And I wouldn’t say most people, I’d say a couple people.” Hanoch insists. “Our economy runs on slavery. History proves it works, and works well. The greatest achievements were built on slaves. Who are you, some random uneducated slave, to claim it should change?”
  8. "It's simple economics—this cannot be stopped. The chaos that would cause would hurt more than the number of simple slaves hurt now."
  9. You? Compared to the Witherlord? You are nothing to those villains. A mere blip. But you wish to be so much more—a villain for the ages, far beyond the ancient epic villains.
  10. But why not an impact for good—one that will truly last through the ages.
  11. He grabbed a feather duster and began dusting around the hall, keeping an eye on the taskmaster whodve thunk slave life was so hard
  12. He stood up straight. “Uhh… I was just listing things we need to do for the… hall.”
  13. Hanoch follows to the hall. “Lazy… worthless… no class…” he mumbles under his breath.
  14. Hanoch brings the coffee over
  15. Hanoch takes the coffee from Gai and sticks it on the stove. Impatient much?
  16. But exist long enough in the way you are... you will end... you will die... nothing lasts for the authors. You will never last.
  17. Hanoch stared, then remembered the beating he had last time he refused to take an order. He got some coffee started.
  18. Hanoch stared at him silently. Lazy man. Early to bed and early to rise, is it not?
  19. The voice went quiet. You think the authors care for your petty behavior? For your meaningless battles? You follow an author yourself—and all you do is TRIVIAL to them… A MEANINGLESS GAME.“
  20. Elan nodded, looking into the distance. Ver reminded him a lot of himself—someone who left something bigger. "I... I won't say I know exactly how you feel. But I've been through something similar, I think." He exhaled softly, and put a hand on Ver's shoulder. "If you ever need to talk. Or just think near someone. I'm here."
  21. I feels sad, because the explosion vaporized The Dog. But also, I didn't like The Dog so he isn't that sad. He goes after the sandwich.
