  1. “L…liar,” she breathed.
  2. “D…don’t hurt me.”
  3. “A…little.”
  4. She did it again, and it was a little less shaky.
  5. She breathed in, trying her best to do what he did. It was a shaky breath, but it was better than before.
  6. “Y…y…yes,” she gasped out. “I…think?”
  7. “I know…”
  8. “I…I…I don’t know.”
  9. Not true, long runs are amazing! Also, Eddie, I’m sparing you this time.
  10. She flinched back.

  12. She doesn’t think you’re strong enough to even stand. She knows you’re weak. She doesn’t want you next to her. “Ok,” he whispered, sounding like he was about to cry.
  13. He struggled weakly to sit up, but was unsuccessful.
  14. Edgar tried to stifle his yell of pain, but was largely unsuccessful.
  15. As he said this, Edgar felt hatred bubbling up through him. Why was Roy always such a bully? Someone had to put a stop to this. He stood, ready to confront Roy. Then he immediately fell to the floor, shaking in pain.
  16. “N…never safe.” Her arms and legs were shaking.
  17. … Why am I going to do this again? @The Clarinetist track is hard enough, right?
  18. I should her now. She will be better off without you, with someone else, someone better. I…I can’t though. Not yet.
  19. Her breathing started to calm even more.
  20. He just shook his head, not looking up at her. He slowly stopped leaning against her, until he wasn’t touching her at all.
  21. She did it again, but her eyes were still filled with fear.
  22. He didn’t even look up. You’re going to have to do it eventually.
  23. Edgar didn’t seem to notice, which was strange. He almost always glared back. In fact, Edgar didn’t seem to notice anything that was happening. Instead, he had moved his knees to his chest and wrapped his arms around them, his expression blank. @Lunamor
  24. Edgar heard Jenny start to say something. But then she stopped. Was it something about him? Was she worried he wasn’t strong enough to hear it? He probably wasn’t. He was too weak for her. She deserved someone stronger, someone better. Leave her now, before it breaks her.
