“Gladly.” He leaned forward and kissed her, a longer kiss than hers.

“How do you care for yourself? You didn’t exact a price for taking care of that other man, how do you make a living?”

“Well you have to go before me.” She grimaced. Then, she nicked his arm with the knife, doing as little damage as possible.

“It is if I have a choice. I still have a choice.” - - - He smiled, then laughed. “Weren’t we going to get up and go somewhere?” @Just-A-Stick

“Many things.” Her expression grew solemn for a moment, but then she smiled again.

“I will not hurt him. There is nothing you can do to force me to willingly hurt him.” ”…ok.” He pulled her against him. “I love you.”

“It is work, I wouldn’t say I enjoy it but it’s not the worst possible though.”

“No. That’s too far.” ”I…I don’t want to hurt you. Ever. I never have. But I did.”

She took the knife and cut her cheek. ”I hate you.”

“You are the one hurting me,” she said through gritted teeth.

“I will not be hurting myself for you.” - - - He grinned, a huge smile breaking out across his face. Then, quickly, it disappeared. @Just-A-Stick

She took his arm, smiling at him still.
