Well I sort of worked on my book.

Trying to decide whether to work on my book or start a story centered around my Elden Ring OC

If the weather is as cool on Saturday as is projected, I'll need a cloak for the Ren Faire.

My Lord I love love love The Wheel of Time. Relistening to the sixth book rn and I can't believe I stayed away from these characters for so long.

Lord of Chaos has easily one of the top three battles in the series.

Finally got the Elden Ring DLC. I love it and it's beating the hell out of me.

It is 10:30PM here. And I have an English assignment to finish. Ugghhhhhhhh get me done with this class alreadyyyyyyy I want to sleeeeeeeeeeeeep.

(It's entirely my fault. I could have worked on it earlier but invaded in Blighttown and then went to the gym instead)

110 deadlift was lighter than I thought it was gonna be.

Also did Bulgarian split squats with weights for the first time. Absolutely destroyed me

Finally got Words of Radiance and Dragonsteel Prime set up on my shelf. All it took was rearranging my entire room lol

This morning was bad, but my day got better.

Got to give my speech (the band of brothers soliloquy from Henry V (seriously go watch the Kenneth Branagh version. It's so so good)) and it went extremely well.

Then I went and had lunch while watching TBSkyen's videos about bosses in Bloodborne (they're absolutely horrifying. I love it)

On my drive home, I listened to LION by Elevation Worship (awesome song) and a bunch of songs from Epic, all of which I belted with my window down.

Once I got home, I ate dinner, took a nap, ate some leftovers from dinner, applied for a few jobs, sorted some laundry, did some homework, and now I'm about to play Dark Souls for a little bit.

My grandparents came over for Easter, which means it's time for them to give Unprompted Advice.

There's a guy at my church who owns several small businesses, which is cool and I'm good friends with his oldest son. When we vacationed in South Dakota last year, we (my parents, siblings, and grandparents) stayed at the house they own there.

My grandparents, learning that the owner of the house is a successful businessman, told me (college student struggling to find jobs) that I should work for him doing… literally anything he needs. Which, ig that sometimes we should take any work we can get, but whatever.

When we got home from SD, I talked to the guy's son about working for his dad. He told me that his companies all do work in places an hour or more from where I live in town, and because I'm a college student with classes and homework and social obligations, I didn't press the issue further because I literally do not have the time to be driving an hour or more back and forth to work multiple times a week.

Cut to ealier today, and when I got home from class, my grandfather started grilling me about my five-year plan (I don't have one, I'm a freshman at a community college). After I told him that basically what I've been doing is just homework and applying for jobs (mostly with no responses at all from employers) he once again told me that I should work for my friend's dad doing… whatever I can. I told him that between classes and homework and social obligations, I don't have the time to be driving an hour or more multiple times a week to work. His response?

"Make the time"

By canceling what?? My classes? By not doing hw or putting in the minimum effort and doing badly? Stop working out? I can barely find time to drive 20 minutes to spend a few hours with my girlfriend, I can't work 8+ hour shifts with commutes an hour or more multiple times a week because I am a college student with classes and homework and social obligations. It is literally not possible.

Sooooooooo the visual aid speech in my coms class was supposed to be five to seven minutes long.

Mine was eleven and a half.

Well today was certainly A Day of All Time.

I got a letter from the Selective Service, my great-aunt is over and she kept giving me looks that made me incredibly uncomfortable, and then I almost had a panic attack during the Good Friday service at church

Microsoft Word is unbelievably frustrating. It's baffling to me how Sanderson can stand to write his books with it

My public speaking teacher freaked out a little bit that my classmate's speech was about shooter games.
