"I would rather be ruled by a fine lion, many times stronger than myself, than be ruled by a hundred rats of mine own species."

The world feels like it's boiling.
In other news, I might start uploading to my YT channel again. It's been... like three months? Maybe four?

Last minute essay here we go. Got the Battle Hymn of the Republic to hype me up. Genuinely this song should have been the national anthem. The Star-Spangled Banner is good and all, but the Battle Hymn is just such an absolute banger. Go listen to it right now if you haven't heard it.

Agreed.
There’s an unpublished final verse I found on Wikipedia that goes hard (not that the rest of it doesn’t):
”He is coming like the glory of the morning on the wave,
He is Wisdom to the mighty, He is Succour to the brave,
So the world shall be His footstool, and the soul of Time His slave,
Our God is marching on.” -

All this facial hair is itchy. But my girlfriend likes it, so it's staying.

Why am I taking these classes? Why didn't I take my college's CNA course like I was planning to? I'm not learning anything in either class.

Reread the Constitution for the first time in a while today. Stuff has me feeling patriotic. On to the Declaration of Independence, then the Articles of Confederation.

I can't remember where, but I was at one point advised to read both the Federalist Papers and the Anti-Federalist Papers, in order to get the full context and a more nuanced understanding of the founding. I have yet to do this, but they've both been at the top of my non-fiction reading list for some time. (The problem is I'm rotten at reading non-fiction.)

There are two songs that describe how I've been feeling recently.
Uropia O Morte, and One Fire. They're both by an artist called ROME.

The metal artist I discovered recently turned out to be AI generated sound. What tipped me off was the period between albums. It was only a few months between releases with 10+ songs that were fairly long.
People are so obsessed with an end product that they can't enjoy the process of creating art. And plugging prompts into Stolen Works Regurgitator 9000 isn't a process.

I love debating with people who resort to name-calling and ad hominems when they run out of insane opinions. It is so much fun. Why do I do this to myself?

Gee I love not being able to get to sleep until 5am and then not waking up until 1:30. Wow amazing so great

Warship fact of the day #1:
In May of 1940, the British destroyer HMS Glowworm and the convoy she was escorting came under attack by German light cruisers. Glowworm and her crew fought off the light cruisers, who called for backup. Their call was answered by the KM Admiral Hipper, one of the largest German warships afloat at the time. Glowworm was heavily damaged in the ensuing battle. Her captain, knowing that his ship would soon sink, decided to ram Admiral Hipper. The German warship took on 500 tons of seawater and a heavy list before the leakage could be stopped. Glowworm, having been split in half by the ramming, sank with 31 survivors. Lieutenant Commander Gerard Broadmead Roope, her captain, was not among them. After WWII ended, he was posthumously awarded the Victoria Cross—Britain's highest military honor.

I'm dropping this class. It's useless for what I want to do and I'm not learning anything. I'm just regurgitating what the textbook says. Also it's online so it's almost impossible to focus. (Wow thank you ADHD so great and awesome)
