  7. My grandfather. He is an incredible man, and one of my biggest role models. Do you art?
  8. I have more patience than I used to, so no. TPBM loves math.
  9. Yeah. Although, since I'm leaving Virginia, walking through the Appalachians would be pretty cool.
  10. After my seven hour drive tomorrow.
  11. Possibly. TPBM has been to Norfolk.
  12. I know I'm not gonna get married for at least another five years, but I already know a bunch of locations I want to go on my honeymoon.

My future wife and I will start out in Alaska and make our way east across the US, spending two or three days in each place we stop. After Alaska, the first stop will be Port Angeles in Washington. Absolutely beautiful place. The second stop in Washington will be Mt. Saint Helens and Mt. Rainer. Then we'll head south towards Oregon, where we'll see historic sites along the way. In California, we'll see the redwoods, Yosemite National Park, and Kings Canyon National Park.

On to the Rockies! After going through Arizona and stopping near Four Corners, the next sight will be Colorado. There, we'll go hiking in the Rocky Mountains and see the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. (Thanks @Kajsa :) for showing me that that place exists) Coming out of Colorado, we'll head into Nebraska and go to the Sandhills.

Following that, the Ozarks in Missouri, through the Appalachians and to where I am now, Virginia Beach. And after that, we'll go north to DC and Pennsylvania.

Then we will hop across the pond. Dublin! Edinburgh! Glasgow! Liverpool! London! All the best places in the British Isles. Like Stonehenge.

There's a train that goes under the English channel and comes up in France. Using that, we'll go to mainland Europe and go to French castles, to WWI battlefields in Belgium, then see the Swiss alps, and go where all roads lead.

    Rome.

After the capital of the greatest empire the world has ever seen, my future wife and I will sail across the Adriatic Sea to Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro. And on to Greece.

Then north once more as we go to Hungary, Slovakia, Czechia, and Poland.

The last stop will be the country Georgia, where a good friend of mine lives. It's a small, but beautiful place.

That's a lot of places and I probably won't have the time to see them all in one trip - even my honeymoon - but a man can dream.

  13. They are. I'm currently running like 35. Amazingly, they all work at once and I've never had a problem with crashes. Well, except for when SKSE64 wasn't launching. But we don't talk about that.
  14. I started my first Skyrim playthrough a couple weeks ago. It's a pretty fun game, once you mod it so that it actually WORKS. THANKS A LOT BETHESDA.
  15. I'm a Silent Gatherer. Whatever that means.
  16. It's raining so hard in Virginia rn that water is coming up out of manholes in some places.

  17. Maybe I'll change it sometime in the future, but for now, it stays. With Martin's writing, there are very obvious characters you're supposed to like and supposed to hate. The Lannisters are like the Whitecloaks or the Seanchan: we love to hate them. ----- A Storm of Swords Chapter 7: Jon As I said in a previous post, Jon Snow is my favorite of the POV characters thus far. This is his first chapter in ASoS. It begins where he was left off in A Clash of Kings: captured by Wildlings after having been forced to kill a brother of the Night's Watch. The Wildlings are taking him to see Mance Rayder, the King-Beyond-the-Wall, who used to be in the Night's Watch before he defected. He and Jon have a conversation about why they defected, with Mance telling that it was because after a Wildling woman healed wounds he had taken and repaired his black Night's Watch cloak with some red silk, his commander demanded that he burn his cloak and replace it with an all-black one. So, Rayder defects because he thinks the Night's Watch is too strict with their rules. Jon, on the other hand, is ordered to surrender to the Wildlings so he can gather information about them and eventually return to the Wall. Naturally, he can't tell the Wildlings that, so he says that - because he's a bastard in the literal way - there's never really been a place for him. Mance believes this, and the chapter ends with them sharing a meal. Thoughts: This chapter was a very good way to introduce a new character. In it, you get a very good initial feel of just who the King-Beyond-the-Wall is. I enjoyed it, but I think that my favorite chapter so far has been the previous one because of the politics. That's one of my favorite things about this series. The next chapter is from the POV of Daenerys Targaryen, the daughter and last surviving heir of King Aryes II Targaryen, who was killed by Jaime Lannister during Robert's Rebellion. She is currently on an entirely different continent as she builds an army to retake Westeros from the Baratheons. Oh yeah, and she has three dragons.
  18. Just my watch. Which doesn't count anyway. What is your favorite poem?
  19. No. Listening to Geoff Castellucci's performance of The Raven, by Edgar Allen Poe. It's beautiful and you should listen to it too. TPBM doesn't like poetry.
  20. Not in my opinion. Are you currently away from home?
  21. Nope. Not even close. TPBM is currently on a bike.
  22. I do. But it's kind of expensive. TPBM just threw up at an historical site because their body can't handle heat very well.
