I love reading, writing, and listening to music. I also greatly enjoy political theory, philosophy, and history. Specifically the Middle Ages. My favorite color is rose gold and my favorite fictional character is Túrin Turambar.

  1. I finished 1/5 of my July TBR today. That being The Tower of Fools by Andrzej Sapkowski.

It's a pretty good book, 8.5/10 would recommend.

In other news, we just arrived at our hotel in *checks map* eastern Kentucky, right across the border from West Virginia. Is it worse that for the last thirty minutes of the drive, I had my head pressed against the window so hard that it out a twinge in my neck, or that every time the car turned my head banged on the window harder than a brother gettin smacked?

I feel that Eddie. On our last road trip we had a truck and were crammed butt-to-butt for eight hours a day for a week.

It's not so bad if you have a quality book and some quality music.

Yeah, I have a couple. I have Deadhouse Gates and one other, I think it’s called Sins of the Empire or something like that? (I only grabbed it because I saw on the cover that it said “‘just plain awesome’ —Brandon Sanderson”) but that might not be enough.

I also have the entire httyd soundtrack downloaded :D

With that soundtrack, you're good for anything that could happen in any book. Probably.
