July TBR:
The Tower of Fools by Andrzej Sapkowski, Shards of Earth by Adrian Tchaikovsky, The Pariah by Anthony Ryan, Hyperion by Dan Simmons, and Gardens of the Moon by Steven Erikson.
Four books a month is a pretty decent pace, right?

Funny story about that. My brother gets most of his recs from me, and since we live in the same house, he reads my books(most of the time, he does have his own collection). Almost every time I've recommended a book - The Name of the Wind, The Dragonbone Chair, Leviathan Wakes, etc. - he finishes it in like a day and immediately turns around and asks if I have or if I'm going to get the next.
Now, between work and summer classes in June, I didn't have much time to be reading. So I gave him Gardens of the Moon and told him to read. For about a week, we went back and forth as to why he should or shouldn't read it. (our family is a bit like the Emond's Fielders: stubborn af)
Well he finished it on Friday and has since asked me four times when I'm going to get Deadhouse Gates.
