Arma remembers that running draws shades, so they slow their pace to just a speed walk until they make it to their fort. Which they promptly climb up to

Arma dodges, the punch grazing their temple. They jumped backwards away from him and dropped into a fighting stance. Arma then realizes there's no one still there and runs back into the woods towards their fort

Arma's head exploded with pain, but they were able to retain enough clarity to maneuver their other hand to where it was able to catch the knife that she then dropped and sliced Arc's wrist.

Arma knew they didn't want to kill Airgid, they had already decided to be allied, and he seemed nice enough. But they also didn't want to kill Arc. They did want to ally after all... "I'm not going to kill him, but I will kill you if I need to," they said, projecting as much confidence as they could into their voice, "Stay away from us and I won't kill you here and now. Agreed?"

Arma pulled out their knife and came up from behind Arc and held him in a choke hold with the knife against his throat. "I think it would be a good idea to back off," they said.

Arma considers chasing him down, but decides against it. They reach out a hand to help Airgid to his feet. "We should get out of here," they said, "I've got a safe place we can go."

Arma didn't feel like taking the time to find something heavy, so they ran at Arc and tackled them away from Airgid.

Arma decides to go back to the general area of the cornucopia to see if Airgid might still be there

Arma has collected enough spare branches both from their tree and from the forest floor to have a wide platform to stay on high in the trees. They weren't exactly sure where (@Silver Phantom's character(sorry, I forgot the name)) was, but they planned on venturing out to find them. Arma vaguely remembered someone waving them over right before they had ran to grab their knife, but they had been in too much of a panicked state of mind to register that the person might have been an ally.

Hehe, attraction is so weird. I think you should tell him about being bi or pan, or even just that you're attracted to not just women. From what you're saying, you very much do like him, and I think he likes you too, so I don't think there is really a wrong move you know? I think it would be a good thing to talk to him about this. It would definitely help build trust which is never a bad thing. Feel free to completely ignore me. You got this though, I believe in you

I thought that said sheep instead of sleep for a solid minute, and that was a much harder decision. Shard is superior to the sleeps. Sleeping is overrated

Arma finds a tree that they think is big and solid enough to hold enough weight for them to make something of a base for their allies. They climbed up it and used the knife they had grabbed and began sawing away at branches that were too small for what they wanted and began using them to bridge the gaps between the larger boughs of the tree.

This update is really disorienting, but I like it.
Anyway, life has been really weird lately. I've been sick for the past week, but I'm a lot better. I have had a really hard time getting up for as long as I can remember cuz chronic pain and more recently mental stuff, but I was able to get up today, and I think I've found a way to get up regularly. So hopefully I'll be able to stop being so consistently late to everything. So I'd say I'm doing pretty good.
Except for my dad. He's always been difficult to deal with, what with him being bipolar and having some other stuff going on, but it's been especially bad the past few days. He's just been kind of manipulative and getting angry at me for things I thought were fine and for super small things. It's really hard to talk to my parents, and I'm really scared I'm just making my relationship with them worse, and I don't really know how to fix it.
Oh well, I guess life happens.

Arma glanced ran for the nearest sharp looking object and retreated into the trees as fast as they could. They searched for a good place to defend herself for the night. They hoped they could climb into a tree and make some sort of fort, but for now just somewhere above everything would do.
