    Felicity was awake on the other side of her. She held the book and was trying to quietly sound out words.

    Felicity wouldn’t have been able to sleep if Aela hadn’t been there. Her nightmare would have come back. In the deep recesses of her mind, she didn’t know if she’d ever be able to sleep on her own again. But that wasn’t a problem for now. Aela was here. The woman who’d become like a sister or a mother to her was here. She wasn’t alone.
