I think it might be storing your efficiency at a power so for example if you stored your ability to burn pewter then you’d become a weaker thug and when you tapped it you could be a better thug and if you could compound it you would be able to clap anyone

I’ve also been considering this and I think I have the perfect process 1) be a fullborn (a feruchemist might work to but it would be less viable) 2) buy/extort/blackmail some breaths 3) compound the breath into more breath ( if that isn’t how it works then just repeat step 2 as needed) 4) make hundreds of bands of mourning f 5) make an army of lifeless and give them four commands 1) tap everything 2) look at the memories and act like the person they belong to 3) make sure to compound so it doesn’t get empty 4) come to me if they ever empty second method be a steel compounder or know a sympathetic sleepless 1) grab an atium spike and stack many hordlings killing them all with one spike and steal there ability to create a hivemind or start a horde 2)stab yourself in the heart with the spike and start making a hord

^^^^^To answer your question about shardblade hemalurgy ^^^^^ Also I think if a mistborn where to bond a shard blade then they would probably have enough connection to burn it also I have a theory that tanavastiam and its alloys are meant to forge connections I think raisuim and its alloys are meant to steal different forms of investiture and so I think that raisuim and it alloys hemalurgicly might steal kinetic or passive investiture I think tanavastium might more perfectly steal connection also (TLM spoilers)

So I was reading a WoB (I keep trying but I can’t find it) that said if properly commanded a lifeless could tap a metal mind I also remember reading another one where it said if someone who had an invested ability and made into a lifeless they would still have that ability so here is what I want to know if a full born decides to compound all of the mental and spiritual metal minds and then died and somebody found their body mad them a lifeless and told them to tap their old metal minds and then do whatever they want would they just be the person they were before they died maybe if they were all unkeyed and made into medallions you could give it to another lifeless and then if they tapped it would be the same same but either way do you think if they were about to bleed out and they tapped gold would their original blood grow back or would it be ichor alcohol that grew back edit sorry it glitched out and posted twice

What did Relis Ruthar hear when Kaldin touched his shardblade?
Sky Breaker replied to Fish613's question in Cosmere Q&A
I think the more connected you are to a dead spren the more you can differentiate its screams from other communications and considering that he was bonded to the blade and kaladin only briefly clapped it not forming much of a connection but dalinar can recognize that oathbringer has a more quit scream like “a man trapped in a corner” rather than what he hears when he summons his shard cleaver at the end of words o’ radiance . Also when a blade is summoned it has more sapience syl says that it takes ten heartbeats to summon a shard blade because “they are coming alive” so relies’ blade might be actually accusing him of killing her. -
But if the visitors on first are scadrians (but even if they’re not then I’m pretty sure that scadrians have been there before) and who else would it be considering that scadrians are the most advanced most invested people on roshar can’t leave for the time being and nalthian trade caravans travel exclusively through shadesmar not space so and TLM spoilers And so maybe they just have iron eyes legends

I think that it would be bringing their spiritual aspect closer to their physical aspect which seems to be proven because the spiritual aspect is often also referred to as to as one’s perfect self and as they gain heightenings they colors get more perfect when they come near and they stop aging and they see the world as it compares to perfection

Mistborn V.S. 3rd Ideal Lightweaver
Sky Breaker replied to Wits instant noodles's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I think that the light weaver would be hard pressed to lose because they have an insta kill weapon that granted has a short range but they could always make a billion illusions including one around themselves and that would be very confusing to their bronze senses and while they are confused just kill them -
Mistborn, Feruchemist, Awakener, Surgebinder or Elantrian?
Sky Breaker replied to Ati16's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Elantrian because I have always wanted to learn programming and this would light a fire under me -
So I was thinking of what constitutes an avatar in the Cosmere would the well of ascension be considered an avatar because it is a shard granting them power making them nearly immortal while they hold it? Would marsh be considered an avatar when ruin is controlling him? Is Amaram an avatar of odium when he bonds Yelig-nar (the unmade)? Also I’m reasonably that Yelig-nar might be an unmade avatar of Autonomy

In a WoB I read once it said that if you converted a shard’s power into matter it would be about the size of a planet so maybe if you soulcast a planet (which would probably take about enough power that you would already ascend) into a metalmind and the compounded enough to fill it and then tapped all of it at once you’d probably ascend but I feel like if you started getting enough power to become a shard then harmony would probably notice getting substantially weaker and weaker and he’d probably just intervene (send wax to take care of you)

Fullborn V.S. 5th Ideal Windrunners
Sky Breaker replied to Wits instant noodles's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Well no if you could get enough bronze you could store and the burn your storage and then store that in a bigger metalmind and then burn that rinse and repeat until you have enough stored heat to dump it all and vaporize the planet also same could be done with weight to make a black whole or with pewter to make a massive bicep that completely blocks out the sun and make the planet freeze.- 456 replies

Fullborn V.S. 5th Ideal Windrunners
Sky Breaker replied to Wits instant noodles's topic in Cosmere Discussion
With fullborn powers you could get something going really fast and then throw it at the ground and then run away from the explosion rinse and repeat until stormlight runs out or get a sword/knife/thrown coins and just use speed to just run by and cut them until they die or compound heat, healing, and breath until the world itself burns and the list of ways for them to win just goes on and on and on and I see only one way for a Windrunner to win ( instantly kill a shard and then ascend and then go and take at least nine hundred breaths then go to elantris and become an elantrian then use lashing after lashing in space to go so fast that they go back in time then kill their parents in less than a millisecond)- 456 replies

I think a-pewter and full feruchemist because pewter basically boosts everything including speed of body, speed of thought, healing especially for savants, energy, wakefulness, breath ( I’m pretty sure you don’t need as much air when you’re burning pewter), and warmth. It’s basically like second rate compounding for all but 8 attributes and actual compounding for muscle mass which lets you store more weight than you normally could. Plus I’ve always thought being a feruchemist would be better than being a mistborn because it just seems more everyday useful than being mistborn also you can make unlimited feruchemy medallions.

I don’t know but reading stormlight first was a really surreal experience but still fun but if I could go go back I wouldn’t have started it till the first five were out

An elsecaller could travel to the spiritual realm and gain safety from all the fighting then they could soulcast beads into highly radioactive elements which would degrade very quickly and would let out a shock and heat wave rinse and repeat until they are completely destroyed edit: sorry didn’t see the bit about soulcast nukes above

The Sword of Harmony vs the Son of honor
Sky Breaker replied to bmcclure7's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I’m pretty sure that when shardplate heals it doesn’t constantly pull in new spren other wise wouldn’t alethi war zones have less plate spren but we see plenty of spren in the places where shard bearers are all fighting -
First according to Brandon Sanderson elantrians have one of the best healing factors but you might be able to nuke elantris and aralon to destroy it and that would probably mess up the elantrian’s powers second radiants would cause more of a problem for example Windrunners could lash missiles and other aircraft and that would really mess up their steering so they would have advantage in dogfights, dustbringers could use division on stuff like military vehicles and weapons so they would also have advantage in land fights, and finally with stuff like elsecallers and lightweavers you could soulcast nukes from shadesmar so you couldn’t use nuke very easily (also just a side note I’m pretty sure that live shardplate would be bulletproof

Would you rather… 1. have all ten honor blades or the bands of mourning 2. full feruchemist or mistborn 3. elantrian or shard 4. Fifth oath radiant (say what you choose) or a fifth heightening awakener for me I would do 1. All ten honor blades 2. Feruchemist 3.elantrian 4. Sky breaker
-
1. Lost metal 2. alloy of law 3. Words of Radiance 4. tress Of the emerald sea 5. mistborn 6. mistborn 3 7 bands of mourning 8. Way of kings 9. mistborn 2 10. Oathbringer

It depends on whether or not we are talking about humanoid robots. If we are just saying robots in general then I think the fourth bridge counts. If we are talking about humanoid robots then probably taldain because it has had so long since we have seen them

The Sword of Harmony vs the Son of honor
Sky Breaker replied to bmcclure7's topic in Cosmere Discussion
This might be a tough one but I think kaladin would pull through considering he has armor that can heal and can heal himself and wax’s RPG may or may not crack shardplate fast enough to hurt him -
Who would win, the Ultimate Cosmere free for all.
Sky Breaker replied to Frustration's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Sleepless full-born Fifth oath sky breaker first oath else caller elantrian aether bound (midnight) second heighting for 997 Points with being a full born I can compound nicrosil and soul cast literal tons of water and metal with access to the dor I can have almost limitless investiture and can sustain a lot of midnight essence under my control and then being a sleepless with gold healing stormlight healing elantrian healing I’d be unstoppable and if you tried to capture me I could just go into the cognitive realm and escape or transfer my consciousness to a different swarm -
I hope that helps
