now that christmas is over, what’s everyone’s favorite gift that they gave and their favorite one they received? 

my favorite one i gave us a mug i painted for my mom:

well i got a new pair of my favorite converse that i’ve had for 3+ years (they’re absolutely destroyed) so I’m really happy about that, I got—

I GOT THE SCUDDING SAM YANG (SAMDOESARTS) ART BOOK AND IT’S THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THING I’VE EVER LAID HANDS ON AND I ALMOST CRIED WHEN I OPENED IT

i also got “You’ve Reached Sam” by Dustian Thao. was crying 14 pages in. haven’t cried again, but i’m sure i will (if not because of the absolute sadness of the story, it will be because of this man’s grammar conventions… /hj)

i think my family is trying to turn me preppy cuz i got a stanley, along with some other items that classify as “preppy”

ooh and i got a backpack!

and these nice paintable/customizable press-on nails, plus nail art paint pens

and my little brother got me this portable sticker printer that connects to your phone. i’m going to take it everywhere. i’ve used it to print out atrocious .5s of my friends, as well as a few shakespearean insults. i’m in love with it. ehehehehehehehehe

anyway

after gifts and stuff (opening those took a WHILE), we kind of all split and played with our stuff. then we ate dinner and my mom’s classic christmas jello and played some games all together, including Double Ditto, Take Two, and, of course, Mariokart (i absolutely crushed them all hehehehe >:) 

it was a really good christmas!!! very very chill, good vibes, all the things EXCEPT IT STILL HAS NOT SNOWED. I DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT NEBRASKA IS DOING. SINCE WHEN DO WE NOT GET SNOW IN ****DECEMBER???****
