when used correctly

i had a character do it to convince the military to let her S/O go

but then S/O believed her

even tho they’re literally both virgins…

and she keeps trying to tell him it was a lie to save him 

and he cuts her off every time and it’s just like

COME ON

kinda sad because he’s like “yk we’re way too young for this but maybe it won’t be so bad! we’ll be like a little family” and he’s actually EXCITED 

he even started coming up with lists of NAMES

and this whole time my character is just like dying inside trying to tell him that it’s not real
