first day at disney is over! we did animal kingdom today from 1~2 ish to 7. my friends and i only got to three attractions because of line waits and stops for food, but it was cool!
we did the It’s Tough To Be A Bug thing, which was actually kind of terrifying, and i will never do it again. the trypophobia and arachnophobia were in HIGH GEAR and i was actually screaming like a little kid.
then we did a river raft ride with a 2 hour line. frankly, it wasn’t comparatively worth the wait, but it was still a lot of fun!
then we did the Na’vi river journey, and let me tell you, it was INCREDIBLE. it felt REAL. and the avatar at the end??? an animatronic?? there’s no way. it looked SO REAL AND HUMANLIKE I LITERALLY GASPED WHEN I SAW HER. i had to like do a double take and be like “is that a robot or a girl in a suit????????”
then we chilled and got frozen lemonade (though i just drank my regular lukewarm lemonade instead hahaha) and relaxed before our busses came.
we really wanted to do Expedition Everest and the avatar flight one, but Everest was down all day, and the avatar one had too long of a line to do after the river ride. which was disappointing, cuz i heard it was AMAZING, but it is what it is!
we’re now headed back to the hotel to chill basically and settle in. it’s gonna be such an amazing week! here are some pictures.
also ahahahaha i had to get my bag checked after i got beeped at security •_•

Agreed with @Edema Rue. Both are really cool, and the river passage one was one of the most relaxing rides in the park. Makes you feel at peace.

Heh, chilled and got frozen lemonade, heheh
SpoilerMy humor is broken
Also my friend’s bag triggered the thing when we were going to New York lol. The guy literally just touched one of his shirts and closed his suitcase and went back to doing TSA stuff. (I can’t remember if I’ve told this story here before)
