  2. *is laughing out loud right now*
  3. Y'know funny story I know a guy who talks (and texts) like that... YEAAAAAHHHH I'LL EAT YOU!!
  4. And then I'm gonna, like, go to the mall and buy, like, five hundred dresses, cuz, like, I need some to pick for prom! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! @Ancient Elantrian
  5. Eddie smiled back. "Thank you, Lilyana. I don't know what I'd do without you."
  6. Tal growled and cut off their communication. "This is what you get when your boss is a goddess," he muttered. "There's nothing I can do, I'm...sorry."
  7. "I...I don't understand, Princess. I want to, though. Will you...will you tell me?" She reached for Lilyana's hand.
  8. "What is wrong with you?" Rue asked. Her face didn't show it, but she was furious. "Did the poison...speed up your insanity, or were you always this much of an idiot?" "I can't," Tal said, looking terrified. "I...Emma, can you...?" @The Wandering Wizard
  9. Eddie steps back. "Lils? What...what happened to you? You changed...you went and changed on me, Princess."
  10. “Thanks.” Tal didn’t notice. “Oh stars,” he muttered, trying to help her.
  11. Xi giggled. “I ate someone!!”
  12. “Yeah, could you?” Tal watched the figure on the screen. “Someone put something in it, we have proof now. Not sure who, though, or how they got in without my seeing them.”
  13. Eddie blinked. “Lils, are you okay? I love my mother, you know that.”
  14. “No,” Tal said, “but I’m in the security room now. I doubt it’s permanent, but it looks like they got it right at the source.” “No, I didn’t.”
  15. Tal blinked. “How did you…nevermind. Who’s that?” He set her down.
  16. Eddie smiled again. “Well? Let’s go!”
  17. “Someone poisoned the water.” Tal frowned and grabbed his key, tossing it to Melody. “Open that door, would you?” @Aeoryi
  18. The fire turned purple. Xi’s eyes grew a little bit. “I think I just ate something!” She says excitedly. The fire is growing unbearably hot, not to mention the smoke.
  19. “Ah, we have a bit of a…situation?”
  20. “We’ll…figure it out,” Tal said, picking up Lundyn and moving out of the door. “Let’s get her to bed first though, yeah?” They walked past the door to the tech room. Tal pressed a button on his jacket. “Emma?”
  21. “None of the above?” Eddie nodded, smiling sadly. “Of course I do. I’m so glad that’s all behind us now. Let’s not mess up this visit with memories of the bad times, okay? The city back home is wonderful, but I want to hear about everything I’ve missed in the moving mountains!”
  22. Len laughed, breathing deeply. He turned sharply around a meteor, then over another and under a third. He felt the g-forces pushing him back and he didn’t care. This. This was what he lived for. Not a fight, not an argument, not a petty rich boy. For the sky. For the thrill of pushing further than should be possible. For the black creeping at the edges of his vision just before he leveled out. For the stars, faintly visible in the sky above. This was what it felt like to be alive.
  23. “Sort of? What comes out of the taps won’t hurt you, but we still need to find a permanent solution.”
  24. “Then I thank you doubly,” Tal said, nodding to her.
