When, in preparation of possibly meeting other sanderfans, you wear a cosmere shirt, Dragonsteel hoodie, mistborn earrings and necklace, about 20 pins on a lanyard, and also paint taynixes on your fingernails. And carry around a water bottle and notebook, each of which have several dozen Sanderson stickers on them. -
Something I could never be by Wrabel is a fantastic song.
Also, I watched the last two episodes of Percy Jackson and cried a lot.
Also, writing is a lot of fun.
But it's funner with people.
And something about loneliness sucks the joy out of everything that could make you smile.
But I'm okay. I guess. Maybe. I hope. Sleep well, dear humans. And remember to love. Sometimes the ones who are laughing the loudest need you the most. And sometimes, when you find the good ones, you'll feel better for having met them, even if only for a moment. Sometimes that moment of laughter can cover a lifetime of tears.
And sometimes I ramble and say absolutely nothing because I have feelings that can't be written.

The inquisitor jumped back, pulling the coins back to himself, then shooting them again, this time at Rue. Who still had her eyes closed.

The inquisitor fell back, crumpling to the floor. A huge chunk of its side was missing, and it tried to stand without success. The other one looked much warier, and shot a wave of coins at TAAron and Rue. Rue’s eyes widened. She felt her heart pounding, and closed her eyes, reaching for the power again…she was so close… One of the inquisitors pulled out a small vial and tipped it down Aventine’s throat, then turned back to Jar Man.

The inquisitor…did the equivalent of blinking. Two of them turned towards her, pulling out more coins and sharpened wooden poles.

“Don’t…” One of the inquisitors in the cell pulled out a pouch of coins threateningly. “I don’t know.”

“Okay,” Rue said. “Okay. I can…” she took a breath, then closed her eyes, reaching for the power. It was so close…she could almost feel it…but not quite. “I need…I need more time.” The inquisitor stumbled, but stayed standing. Then he flicked out a coin, and it shot towards Jar Man’s chest. The girl led her to an office, then knocked. There was no answer. “Um. He…must be out.” “I’m sorry about that,” Tal said. “But I promise, that’s not what we do here. You’re welcome to stay as long as you like, but no one’s forcing you to stay.”

Rue nodded, standing. "I...until I can make a gateway, I won't be much help." The two inquisitors in the cell moved in front of the bars. They did nothing threatening, but the message was clear: they wouldn't be getting past without a fight. "All right!" The nurse said. She closed her eyes, and Roy felt the taint begin to pull out of his mind.

Did I just spend all my homework time painting commslugs and inhibitor slugs on my fingernails?
Yes, yes I did.
Do I regret it?
Not even a little bit.

I get to go to BYU tomorrow for a writing camp thing all day, I don't know anyone else who will be there but hopefully it's a lot of fun! (I also probably won't be on the shard, like, at all. Sorry to those in the insanity clinic who are trying to do things.)

Rue sat up sharply, blinking. Her eyes looked clearer. "That...thank you. I still..." she frowned. "I still can't feel my magic. But I'm awake..." she blinked at the Inquisitors outside the cell. "I don't suppose you have a plan to get out?" "Um..." the girl paused, then nodded. "Right this way, my Lady." She started walking towards the mansion. Tal lead him into a room that looked, well, calm. Several nurses were bustling about. One walked over to them, and Tal explained about the taint. "Okay," the nurse said. "If you want us to do this, and it sounds like you do, then let's get this done!" The inquisitor was swinging it hard, and it snapped. As it did, another inquisitor came up behind.

One of the Inquisitors picked her up and tossed her into a cell on the other side of the hallway. A young girl in skaa’s clothes opened it, looking nervous. “Can I help you?” She squeaked. The inquisitor with the pole brought it down, towards his head.

“More of you…” one of the inquisitors murmured, advancing on Aventine and Jar Man. @Cash67 I can’t… and then Rue’s presence faded.

One of the inquisitors swung a long wooden pole at her. Rue didn’t answer. In his mind, TAAron heard a faint voice. I can’t…they did something to me, to my magic…I’m sorry. You shouldn’t have come.
