Debate today was…

Ah…

Something.

I was doing research and didn’t see how it started, but our coach got in a fight with one of the PF kids. Not a debate or an argument like you’d expect, no, a hand sanitizer/food fight. And then the next thing I know he’s standing on my desk holding a paper towel full of hand sanitizer and chasing her around, jumping on all the desks. 

AND THEN she ran out of the room, so he locks the door goes over to one of his cabinets and opens it up (it’s well known that this cabinet is full of food) and pulls out a bottle of syrup. Syrup, guys. And then he dumps it in her water bottle, lots of it, and shakes it up before setting the water bottle back on the desk. 

And then, to, y’know, throw her off the trail of the syrup, he pulls out a jar of peanut butter, scoops out a massive thing of it, and holds it over her computer as she opens the door to come back in. Then she yells at him not to, and he turns to the rest of the class and whispers “what happens in debate stays in debate” and eats the whole scoop of peanut butter.

Oh, and he also tied a kid’s arm hair in knots. It was quite a period.
