  1. I don't know how much the spoiler will help with that, but it will help navigability
  2. It's going good. appreciated. @LIV_SB-DustBringer?
  3. "Uh huh. The Narrator that can manipulate time didn't have time to react? Pardon if I'm skeptical. Anyway, are you headed to be with Nogard, or do you want to go on a quest? I figure having a Narrator wouldn't hurt, and Hacob is busy with the Brave Adventurers and his volcano." Uh huh. A computer glitch. Would a computer glitch be able to do this? The keyboard picked itself up and moved out of the adventurer's hands. Hacob walked up. "Sorry, that's my bad. Stupid rabbits wanted to eat me and I figured if the Brave Adventurers had taken over one of my bases, I would still be allowed to use the defense system." He snapped, and the lava stopped flowing and the ground stopped shaking. Blood dripped out of a Narrationblade-shaped hole in his back, but he didn't seem to notice.
  4. guys, if you're going to do stuff like that, spoiler them.
  5. Never mind. They left. She just probably wouldn't want to come near the rabbits.
  6. "That explains the splints. Didn't you stab him though?" The text continued erasing itself. I said, get out of my volcano. It's mine. Well that doesn't seem like it'll be good.
  7. "I thought I remembered you being knocked out. Oh yes, you did wake up. I thought maybe you got knocked out again." The text on the screen erased itself as he typed. Then a message appeared: Get out of my volcano. Hacob's eyes appeared glazed over, and he was seemingly ignoring the rabbits. The volcano was shaking under his feet, and the lava just kept coming, flowing in waves as high as 3 feet. Hacob sent a message. Yes. Lots of rabbits. Don't tell the General.
  8. i either win for very long times or for very little time
  9. But it could've been. That reminds me... aren't you supposed to be unconscious right now? Hacob punched one in the nose, then pressed the button on the remote. Those brave adventurers really should have checked who owned the building before they moved in. Nowhere built some strange things into houses. Before the bunnies could reach him, the volcano erupted, lava flowing perfectly around Hacob, heat rising around him, but not onto him. Stupid bunnies and their stupid bunny powers.
  10. You do that. Uh... Kinda is how that works. You can move people through Narration. Ow. Hacob thought, but didn't let the pain out of his body. Instead, he grabbed a rabbit in each hand, and, before they could react, brought them down onto two other rabbits, fangs first. Then the ground erupted, sending rabbits flying and pulling others into the new pit. As the earth fell back onto the rabbits Hacob leaped up with a weird remote in his hand. A brave adventurer peeked his head out of the volcano's secret door.
  11. "Not my group. I was never a part of it. Last I remember you only caught up to them because Subversion Narrated you there... But I'm glad you trust him. I think he's a fine person, probably. Never actually met him. But I think there is a good chance he's wrong. But anyway, I believe that if you want to complete your agenda, you'll want to go do that. I'll go find something else to do while I wait for the world to start dying." [I'm not making you dirty. When you try to clean yourself, you must be spreading the ash. It's only happening as you're cleaning!]
  12. you can't stop it if I start it
  13. Hacob pointed out that with the General onboard, they had about the same likelihood of getting captured with or without the other brave Adventurers. "Of course he did," Platypus muttered under his breath. "Has it occured to you that perhaps, they might be wrong? Or that they might be the ones deceiving you?" Platypus took a step forward. "How would you get anywhere? It seems like none of you besides the Great Wizard can teleport. You had to chase down the so-called spies." Platypus stepped to the side. "Fine. Go capture him. Go crazy. I will come to your trial, if only to make sure that the Great Wizard receives actual justice. But don't come crying to me when the Thread is about to be destroyed. I. Will. Not. Help. You. If I need to, I will save the Thread, as I have in the past. But it will happen after your Council has been razed, your strongholds destroyed, and all hope is seemingly lost. Good luck." Huh. As they cleaned their fur, it somehow got dirtier.
  14. "Are you serious? With 90% of the people who are prophesied to have a good chance to claim the Blades there, do you really think nothing would happen? And all the people who would try to stop the claiming of the Blades would be there! So even if it didn't happen there, it would happen somewhere else! In addition to that, this trial-" he cut off as he registered exactly what the Valiant One had said. "WHAT? You have people actively searching for the Blades?! The Blades that can tempt nearly anyone to wield them? And you thought it would be a good idea to have NORMAL ADVENTURERS GO LOOKING FOR THEM? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?" Hacob sent a telepathic message to TP and Sellpaenip. I have some rabbits at the volcano, and it's probably very important that the Great Wizard deal with them. Then he projected waves of nasty-tasting things at the rabbits.
  15. Little does Nameless know, I have a great plan to stop this. I will begin my speech writing. Then I will type it with OA's computer, which obviously still has some Authorial power. Platypus' villain arc will begin!
  16. "Was I unclear in my statement?" he asked furiously. "He didn't send any of those spies. At least on of them was one of my servants who was supposed to be on a vacation, but ended up through a portal on Hawaii. I traced the cause of the portal, and it wasn't the Great Wizard's." He paused for a second. "Speaking of which, have you seen him? He was a squirrel. He looked... like a squirrel." He shook his head, launching back into his argument. "What hard evidence? The letters from the Dreamsmith? The Dreamsmith himself has discussed those letters with me. But all of this doesn't matter." He took a deep breath, preparing to get the important message through the Valiant One's stupid, stubborn, thick skull. "THE THREAD WILL LITERALLY END IF YOU CAN'T PUT ASIDE YOUR THRICE-BLASTED PRIDE AND WORK TO STOP IT!! I DON'T CARE IF THERE IS A TRIAL, BUT IT CAN ONLY HAPPEN AFTER THE THREAD IS SAVED!" Hacob flipped, kicking rabbits as they passed over him with his steel-toed shoes. Then he went subtly, but quickly, in towards TP. ... Hacob was very confused. He had made this volcano. How had the Brave Adventurers gotten into it already? Oh well. Hopefully the Great Wizard would sense the rabbits before they got too far away.
  17. it could be funny tho
  18. that's a decent list, I respect it. well I'm glad we can all agree early years was good.
  19. "I am afraid there will not be a trial. There is not time for a trial. Valiant One, have you ever known me to try to cause harm to the-" Platypus cut off, looked around, made sure Nogard was out of earshot, and continued. "-Thread? What actual cause do you have? Rumors from the Brave Adventurer? You didn't even allow him to come to the meeting of the Council when this was first decided! You adjourned the Council before he arrived! For Adonalsium's sake, do you want the Thread to die?" He glanced around, trying to relocate the Silent Hero. Hacob spun, flinging ash all around, covering the invisible rabbits with it. As long as he didn't lose track of them, he could stall for long enough for TP to get the Great Wizard here. Ahead of the group, a volcano loomed. There appeared to be a person there, scattering ash about, and the ash was... floating? Objectively, at least brotherband went downhill. last book was significantly worse than first 3. also, where would you place early years? it's been a hot second since I read royal ranger, but I thought it was fine all the way through to where I got. I do love the crew dynamic. my list probably early years, brotherband (except the second to last and last one), og series, royal ranger, last 2 brotherbands.
  20. it was an exaggeration. to be fair, back in my day, there wasn't a single Ennuller character.
  21. I remember that before it was p2w
