  1. I left my house at like 3:30 am yesterday and did not get back until almost 4 am today.

    I should be sleeping.

But also I need to figure out if the room hosts at the competition yesterday really were trying to get us disqualified or if we were all just being dramatic. If they weren't trying to get us disqualified they definitely broke like all the rules for being a room host. They stayed in the room while we were there, including while we were changing. Then a guy room host walked in while we were changing. I'm in an all girls group. That's when one of our directors kicked them out the first time. I'm pretty sure they got kicked out more than that. They moved our stuff around and we're 85% sure they took some of it. It was just overall weird and they just really didn't like us for some reason.

Best parts of the day. These are probably going to sound really weird.

    • Not making finals. I was so burned out that I don't think I would have performed well.
    • Being burnt out. I couldn't keep myself from showing emotions which let me actually process them a little.
    • Crying. 3... times. I think. Maybe more. It felt kind of good which was weird.
    • I had a giant tub of Goldfish crackers. It was amazing.
    • Our critique judge told us that our show has rocked the show choir world. He said he's asked everywhere he goes if he had seen our show. I didn't fully process how amazing that was to hear in the moment but now I'm really proud of that.
    • Mandatory nap time.
    • Our prep group got 1st in their division! My freshies were so happy! They worked so hard for it.
    • Our varsity group got 2nd and my group got first in our division.
    • So you know how charter busses normally have like two seats paired next to each other. I got those two seats to myself on the way home. Helped me half sleep longer than a single seat would have.

    Not great things.

    • Being on the bus made me slightly nauseous.
    • Our director seemed disappointed that we didn't make finals.
    • They ran out of pretzels which was the only thing I actually wanted to eat. I have no idea why.

Then I half slept on the way back and then slept till 11.

I understand your question and it's fine, I get it quite a bit :P

Basically for eating I go off of texture mostly instead of taste, because I can really only tell if something is spicy, sweet, sour, that sort of thing. You can shove a flower up my face and I won't be able to smell anything. Same thing with cinnamon and anything that has a very strong smell. I can't smell a thing. Makes it easy to change out cat poop though. :eyes:

OOOOH yes. Changing the litter is NOT fun. Between the different types of food that you can tell, what's your favorite? I like sweet most, and I'm forcing myself to eat more spicy stuff from time to time...

Lasagna is one of my favorites.
