I finished my 22nd sketchbook!
My parents were super nice and bought me a really nice really expensive one that I've wanted to try for forever
it's gonna be my 23rd one and I'm really excited ! ! ! !
if I do a cool illustration or decorate the first page maybe I'll show ya'll!

Unfortunately this was Sharlin, and to her this sort of thing was a laughing matter. "I know right? What's a little death here and there?" She grinned widely. "After all, everybody dies someday." I see your crazy as ever this fine morning. "Life would suck to much if I wasn't." "Aaanyway I trust you because you didn't immediately try to kill me, plus my buddy here is a sucker for familial relations and he'd be super pissed if I killed off a cousin." She tapped her head. I mean . . . Yeah. She pulled herself onto a particularly large rock. "Having people to work with in the start is beneficial, that can't be argued with as much as I like to go off on my own."

hmmmmmm Probably The Oh Hello's, they're a Christian folk band I really like. I have no idea if they do shows actually . . . If there was ever an Epic The Musical Live show I'd totally go to that too. As for last night . . . probably 5 ish hours? It's hard to tell sometimes. flying squirrels are very silly

Sharlin nodded as she continued picking her way up the hillside. She watched the ground for ants, hoping the change in environment meant they would've have to deal with them anymore. At least it wasn't a hard climb, with all the rocks and plants to grab onto. Much different then scaling city-buildings. How tall was this mountain? She'd assumed it'd be small because they were on an island, but it's not like she was an island expert.

Sharlin glanced around, and then started making her way up the landscape past their little shelter. "Maybe they mountains would have depression vines, that'd be cool." She commented. Maybe they're full of evil mountain goats. "Nah it's too warm here for mountain goats." How do you know? Maybe there are tropical evil mountain goats. The most awful worst most terrible ugly gross feeling in the world is having a respectful debate with someone and then you realize that you fundamentally misunderstand their side because of an offhanded comment they made that you thought was the point of what they were saying but they actually meant it jokingly but I took it seriously and based my arguments against that point and then confused them because that's not what they're saying but then several people pointed it out to me and I finally understood and felt really awful and apologized but I still feel like really bad about it and I am now in fact a fool, a hypocrite and a horrible person.

Spoilerin all reality though, I get you. I saaay I want to start writing fiction seriously and then i just don't . . .
but I think it's important to remember on top of everything else that good art takes time.
Time and meditation and thoughtfulness, and long long breaks.
Sometimes it takes you 15 years to hammer out a masterpiece, not everyone is Brandon releasing a new book every single year.
