She fought against him with all her strength, managing to stay face up, but not being able to escape from his grip. The new impact caused Sharlin to drop her scythe, but it was useless now. She wrestled both of them, calling on her strength from Sharuel, unsure how long it would last. Sharlin managed to shove the barrel her gun, still held in her bloody hand, up against Evan. With a breath she cocked it and fired. @Uninteligenius

I just wish graduation could wait I few weeks until my crisis isn't so bad and I'm less depressed. I want to be happy and celebrate but I just don't know if I can right now. I'm trying so hard but it's a struggle willing myself out of bed in the morning. My sister is coming to visit next week for my graduation which might help, because she and my niece always cheer me up. I've just been having a hard time with my parents lately (I love them and they are amazing, it's just me and my emotions and my stupid heart having different opinions then them). On a lighter note, I spent like 15 minutes on my sewing final and got a 96% lol. Also after I finish studying tonight I'm gonna watch the Hobbit movies for fun !!

After her swing didn't hit as intended, Sharlin dodged back, expecting an attack. One of the knives caught her cheek, taking a long thin slice. Sharuel fought hard against Reef, biting at his eyes. Sharlin heard Evans cry of pain, but hadn't recovered from the previous attack fast enough to dodge out of the way of his grapple. They both hit the ground hard, and Sharlin started fighting to push him off, using a boost of strength from Sharuel. This doesn't look good, Sharlin ... "Where'd you go?" She grunted. I was looking for some way to help but I couldn't find anything. Sharlin felt a spike of something heavy in her chest from how sincere he sounded.

listen, this is coming from the very emotional, irrational part of my brain but I personally think that the 'social experiment' (for want of a better name) type of lesson does not have a place in the classroom
it infuriates me every time, and hearing stories about them (which is more common then being in one, I think) are just as upsetting
and it's like no one else feels that way? At least in my classes? I don't know why I feel so strongly about it

I swear to all that is good and green that if I have to read one more article and answer questions about it for my English class I will go insane worst part about today is I've already read this stupid thing before and it's the one about cannibalizing babies

I know that @Spark of Hope asked about the start date in a different thread a few days ago, so I thought I'd answer over here. The plan is still to start at the end of May or start of June, as I'm much busier then I thought I would be (so much for my relaxing week before graduation). I can't guarantee a date because we also have to work around my fickle mental health, lol. I'm sorry I know this has been months delayed then originally planned, but I think it's for the best to start when I feel prepared to respond regularly. See you all soon!

She was too focused on Aerol to notice him. Sharuel caught Reef in the air before he could reach her, just as she'd been ducking out of the way. Her bird knocked both of them out of the air, and they went down in a flurry of claws and feathers. Sharlin used this is a chance to dash at Aerol with her scythe, bringing it down in a wide swing aimed at her middle.

I finished my reread of the hobbit today!! It was amazing and wonderful, as always. I’ll probably start Fellowship tomorrow. I’m technically also reading Unfinished tales, but my copy is way too heavy to take to school, so I need a paperback to read and I just got a really nice new lotr paperback so . Part of me thinks I should take a break from Tolkien, but I’m so so hyperfixed lol.

I finally read the first volume of Frieren: Beyond Journeys End! Even though I still haven't finished Trigun or gotten caught up wih WHA . . . it'll happen eventually lol. I really want to just binge Frieren so I can get caught up before it's hiatus ends lol, but I'm reading so many other things. In general, I think I have a bias towards Frierens anime, simply because part of why it's so amazing is the fantastic cinematography and direction. The manga is of course very very similar, but I think the paneling doesn't live up to the anime. It's not bad at all, but I've read so many series that had masterful paneling lately that it's hard to compare them lol. Even so, I'm still enjoying it a lot and I definitely look forward to reading the stuff that hasn't been animated yet.

Sharlin stumbled out of the way in time, barely recognizing that her shot had missed. Something was wrong with those blade Aerol was shooting, and Sharlin did not want to get hit by one again. Her middle still felt horribly numb even though the blood was starting to spread through her top. The pebble wacked Sharlin in the temple, breaking the skin there but not doing much more. "Hey! If you're going to attack me, do something that isn't annoying," She grumbled through gritted teeth. Sharlin ignored him for now, rushing at Aerol in a quick sprint, and swinging her scythe at her. She needed to get close enough that Aerol couldn't safely fire her weapon. @Through The Living Glass
